I would just love you all over again, after reading this chapter. After a breakneck race against time, and Fate, this one was more of tranquility, and subtle matters of heart. Tranquility of a raging storm, wild and desparate in destruction, and innocent in failing to cause any permanent damage whatsoever.

The varying shades of mental state of the Sahib, from a relaxed warrior relived, and content enjoying the hearty meal, to the possessive carnivore, suppressing an adversary and deriving cynical pleasure from his wails of agony, to an understanding pillar supporting a now bitter Heera, shortchanged by Fate, fighting the impending but undesirables!

Heera has battled a lot more than one can imagine, now that she's under his wing of protection, and sheathed in the cocoon of bitter apathy, she should be safe herein, while He takes up Her battle to win her back 😳

Love you a lot.
