In my reply to 16, you told me that you didn't know I wanted to hear about Guru's love story.. but, in last chapter 15, I'd written a lambaa reply about the fact that he must have also had a interesting love story what with him disappearing into the fields with his wife... etc

And before you started this story we had a few discussions about the plot... even in the earlier chapters, we discussed that Untold secrets has been set in Shah Jahan's era 😕

You know Harshu ,I just loved this gesture of exchanging turbans- it shows the amount of respect bestowed upon the recipient. ( And this custom has also captivated many of the Baisas as well.) 😃The way Jalal introduced Jodha to Gopal Singh was so sweet. Where did Guru Dada disappear to? Did he leave knowing that Jalal and Jodha were in safe hands and he did not want to waste any more time lingering there?

I suppose we can understand the Emperor's dilemma - knowing the son who is capable cannot ascend the throne due to the rules of the court which state that the eldest son has the right to the throne. Very wise of Jalal not to have a direct confrontation with his father as it would not benefit anyone at this point of time.

It was the shrewdness of Asma that saved Jalal from being captured by Ahmed. Even though Jalal respects and loves his friend, he is unable to divulge much about the sender of the letter nor Jodha's background. Gopal, being a true friend, understands his hesitation and does not pursue the matter.

Our dear Jodha is not enjoying her new status at all-preferring the simple life that she has been forced to leave behind . For her love's sake she has to be the Begum of the Shehzaade , whether she likes it or not, and act as such. How Jalal pacifies his unhappy Begum will be an interesting read.
