However strong and invincible this warrior might be, there is no one to personally care for him. He is alone. He had shut his heart from all beautiful and tender feelings. She is still reeling from the shock that her dear sister is no more, that her life is in danger, that now there is no one to whom she can turn to, when she is in distress... she is still stumbling as she takes over her responsibilities as leader of the clan. And then comes a stranger, who provides a readily distraction from her disturbing life. Who brought out her inner feelings she never knew existed. Someone who has become dear to her...
What happened between them is sheer beauty and magic. As much as heera is sad to leave khan sahib, she is also scared of unforseen dangers and uncertainty of future. Khan sahib who is semi -conscious is in hazed state. She is an unachievable dream for him. This "another life " concept touched me the most. (More so because I too was dreaming what I would do in my another life.) This chapter was so outstanding that I have no words to describe. The magic can only be experienced.
