Along the Lines of the tragic poem "The Babes in the Wood" but with a happy progress...
My dear do you know
How a long time ago
Two poor little children
Whose names I don't know
Were stolen away
On a fine summer's day
And left in the wood
As I've heard people say?
My dear do you know
How a long time ago
Two very young girls
Whose names all of us know
Were left orphaned sadly
Responsible for Parnagarh's safety,
And a Farmaan to protect all the way
As I've heard the story teller say?
Among the trees high
Beneath the blue sky
They plucked the bright flowers
And watched the birds fly
Then on blackberries fed
And strawberries red
And when they were weary
"We'll go home" they said
Among the enemies many
And the help not coming from any
Misfortune took Durga away
Heera managed to meether destiny
Took a journey to unknown land
Without knowing where she would land
Without any help whatsoever
Felt like an orphan left forever
And when it was night
So sad was their plight
The sun it went down
And the moon gave no light
They sobbed and they sighed
And they bitterly cried
And long before morning they lay down and died.
And when it was night
So sad was her plight
The sun, it went down
And the moon gave no light
She faced the unexpected danger
But was saved by a stranger
She thought about him so much
She hadn't felt before this much..
And when they were dead
The robin so red
Brought strawberry leaves
And over them spread
And all the day long
They sang them this song
"Poor babes in the wood!"
"Poor babes in the wood!"
And when she reached her haven
The Cupids , ready in the heaven
Brought them together to meet
Sending Bahadur so sweet,
And the scorpion , another messenger along
That made us sing this song
"Oh, our loveable couple in the story
Oh , please do make a hurry!.."😉
