Readers are being confused here...
I'm basically trying to write past with present... As I've mentioned in first chapter, story had started only two weeks ago, and now the it's proceeding after two weeks... The main motto to show you past is to leave the clues regarding the mystery... I hope kisi ko samaj ni aaye, mystery h yrr 😆
And I think I've mentioned when past is going on and when present... Don't be confused here... Mainly I wanna finish this asap, it's an additional reason to write past and present along each other...
Secondly, one of the reader hinted towards Abdul and Jodha's chemistry... I hope this chapter clears your doubts😃
Hope, I've cleared your doubts... If any feel free to ask...
Happy reading...

Present
Calming his racing heartbeat down, he looked at his friend, whose till now worried features turned unanimously scared, pure horror depicted in those squinting orbs... Abdul followed her gaze and froze on the spot...
"Beneath a banayan tree, Laid a dried red rose...
Delicately adorning the grave, from where blood flows..."
These unwavering and illusive words, which seemed so meaningless some moments ago, now started to bite their souls, grappling and churning their their inside resulting a catastrophic feeling...
A soft fresh plucked rose laid at the grave, name was concealed brilliantly by algae that have completely engulfed the portion where the name of the dead soul, laid beneath this huge grave, carved... At the very tip of that beautiful flower, smeared some stains... Stains of blood!
Immediately both pair of eyes moved upwards and found the leafs bathed with the same dried liquid...

Continued flashback
Abdul, Jalal and Jodha, are best buddies from their childhood while Ruqs and Surya are an addition to their list...
It's been fifteen days from joining, by Jalal and Abdul whilst Jodha completed her one week of college... All are properly well versed with the environment of college, though still something fishy feeling resided in Jodha due to her first day's unexpected incident but Jalal eased her diverting her mind to different topics...
Sitting in canteen, they were relaxing themselves with some light hearted conversation... With that a new topic of riddles invaded their talks, bubbling excitement in girls... Boys were all cool, like always...
So it started with Jodha...
"What can you catch but not throw?" She smiled expecting confusion written on every person's face sitting over there... But pouted examining the weird set of expressions...
"It's cold buddhu!!" Answered Surya while patting her head, earning a hard glare which went unnoticed from everyone except Abdul who smiled teasingly at his buddy, Jalal...
Pulling her chair a little away from surya's, surprising the rest... Cleverly he urged Abdul to carry on with their riddle game...
"Ok guys, answer me! What can run but never walks, has a mouth but never talks, has a head but never weeps, has a bed but never sleeps?" he smiled watching Jodha rubbing her fingers over her head, and Jalal smiling at him, eyeing him silently not to reveal the answer, he moved his gaze to Ruqs and Surya, who were in their respective thought process thinking of answers... After thinking for some seconds, Ruqs answered...
"It's a River! Isn't it?" She asked gleamingly... Smiling at her enthusiasm he nodded, and hi-fied her... Now it's Ruqs turn, pressing her lips she tried to remember some confusing riddle...
"Umm... Ok, It has no top or bottom but it can hold flesh, bones, and blood all at the same time. What is the object?" She gauzed at others expressions who are busy in thinking...
"It's a ring..." Both Jalal and Jodha answered together, one exclaimed loudly while other with a calm composed voice... Ruqs laughed and confirmed that the answer was correct...
"Ok answer this one - Remove the outside, cook the inside, eat the outside, throw away the inside?" Surya questioned, flipping the empty can in his hand, gaze fixed on the table...
"It's corn on the cob!" Jodha squealed, resulting others to look at her with raised brows...
"I've read the same riddle in today's newspaper!!" She grinned at the fallen expression of Surya, while the trio laughed...
Now it's Jalal's turn...
"Ok guys, You need to complete the series of riddles which are stated as :
1. You have a task to put a dinosaur in your cupboard ?
2. You have a task to put a tiger in your cupboard
3. Lion, the jungle king invites all the animals to his 22nd birthday party. Everyone single animal comes except for one animal, which one ?
4. There is small lake having deadly crocodile , you cannot go over it, you cannot go under it and you cannot go around it, how do you get across ?"
All looks at him, questioningly... While trying to guess answers of these series... Few assumptions were made but were declined casually by him... But at the very end, when bell rang indicating the class timing, all urged Jalal to solve the riddle... Who smirked and answered the question...
1. We open the cupboard, put the dinosaur in the cupboard and close it.
2. We should open the cupboard, take the dinosaur out of cupboard, put the tiger in and close it.
3. The tiger, he's still in the cupboard
4. You swim across the lake as all the crocodile are at the party...
