Pale Blue Dot - Keep Smiling by Jhanu

My journey with PBD began a bit late. I was a silent reader then who was new to JA and IF due to time constraints and language barriers. Yet...I was drawn into IF by a masterpiece named "NJAPA". I can write a separate story about the circumstances in which I completed that story in one go and was in AWE of such writing skills. I then tried to read few stories but wasn't impressed at all. When I was about to give up on IF, I came across PBD. The title actually pulled me towards your story...Intrigued with the title, I read the Prologue. You know what Jahnu...I have never told you so far...It didn't give me any hint that it's going to be a romantic story. I loved your philosophical take on life through two teenage siblings...

Your story caught my eyes...The mesmerising journey began...Thank you Jahnu for this wonderful story.

Some of the features I admired in PBD-your imagination, underlying humour, emotional and meaningful dialogues, the leads character development, giving importance to even finer details, suspense of the story to name a few.The lovely banter between JJ friends which still runs through the story like a BGM set the tone for the story. (THIS WAS MEANT FOR PBD ANNIVERSARY THREAD created by Kawsi...Sorry...I couldn't write anything at that time due to my hectic professional life followed by summer holidays etc...)

Jo earlier proclaimed that she must be the ONLY WOMAN in her man's life;but now she willingly becomes the SECOND WOMAN in Jalal's life as she very well aware that she is his FIRST LOVE. Life has come to a full circle for Jo.

Rocking the swing with his dangling foot, Jalal amusedly watched his girl tending and talking. Seated across him, with legs curled under knees and seriously giving her explanations...

Mm..Jalal is thoroughly enjoying the care...😛

Wrapping arms around Jalal's folded legs, Jodha rested her head between his knees.

she glimpsed up perking her chin on his knees - her eyes shimmering with tears and smile. "May be I can quote my tussles to serve as the ray of inspiration she duly needs. May be I can convince her to hold on to the reins of faith in God. May be I can show YOU to her and assure - Every unfair loss would eventually be compensated!!"

This is my favourite part of this update Jahnu!
