Providence helped her to see him close

He marvelled at the nimbleness of her fingers
She at his softness despite his harsh appearance that lingered
He felt the electric impulse trigger his heart
Though he stood firmly unyielding to feelings of this sort
She understood his appreciation sensing his actions all the while
And he in turn understood her acknowledging her smiles
So clever is the author who avoids telling us directly
But through his thoughts she reveals it gently
About the bitter childhood he had undergone
Abused by his relatives in the days bygone
Thus we get to see the tip of the iceberg
Which hides the volume of sadness that may be very big...

Karkuzhali.

I just wiped a few soft tears...😭

At first, I was amazed... how can you come up with something so quickly...
then I realise that you have a flair for it...
So it will come to you, quite naturally...

When I was writing those two pieces of poetry in this chapter you were on my mind...
thinking, What will Periyamma make of this..🤔

but I got your answer through this poem🤗

(Feels like we are conversing like AMK and Harka are doing... they with eyes, us with poems)
Born romantics we are... 😆

Thank you Lashy and Harshu.🤗

Lashy,
1. I have made one or two small corrections to my poem, after you read it.
2. This time I had the starting trouble. I couldn't concentrate on the format..That is, how to blend his flash back thoughts with the current sequence.
3. What to include and what to omit.
4. My grandson and his wife move to a separate apartment today. I attended the "paal kaichum"(Milk boiling?😆) ceremony and was back very late. A little sentimental feeling was also there..
5. I took some time to pick the apt picture..( Dont know if it is apt😉)

And no comments about you remark attributing to me the adjective "romantic"😉😛

Periyamma.
