Who am I?

Hiding Behind the Riddle.

1. A title deed

Is a title indeed

Not near, but far

For a girl but says man!

2. I am a thing of beauty, but also brave

And am also called by that name,

An honest slave to the master

Saving him from any disaster.

3. We are always an inseparable pair

A gateway to the world that's very fair

Lord! a knight entered through them one day

The gates couldn't close thereafter any day!

4. I don't call myself a hero unsung

Since all the poets take my example for the young

They call me sweet, they call me cheery,

But, you like me because I grew with Heera, I see.

5. I disappeared as soon as I emerged,

Just like the lightning

My acts and deeds are heard after I'd gone

Just like the thunder

The forecast is a heavy downpour

All because of me.

6. I am a meeting spot like a park

With colourful trees planted as a mark

For the visitors to enjoy the ambiance

And chat without marking any absence!

The park where the chipmunks are abound

Calling themselves Banjaras all around!

7. I am neither short nor very tall but a riot

Given in small doses as a medicinal diet

But the small doses give my customers the kick

That make them go helter-skelter for their pick!
