Today was undoubtedly Rajat's apex in terms of acting ability. I don't think he does better in any other episode.

The dargah scene is a classic. He is tearful as he bends down in humility and then the situation gets to him and words and tears flow copiously. He pleads with God to save Jodha, the distress on his face, the crack in his voice and the free flowing tears create an image so powerful that the viewer becomes emotional too. Rajat did that today with a superlative performance.

The entire episode was like a step ratcheting of tension, Jalal is calm at the beginning and then his composure cracks. Interposed were images of Jodha and Jalal in happier times and that makes Jalal feel even more wretched.

A great, must watch episode which deserves to be seen in HD.

First things first 😉

Dargah Scene n Rt's performance was mind blowing , that I couldn't stop reminiscing how I felt overwhelmed seeing The shehansha - bowing down to God and begging him to return his beloved's jaan jiski bagair he cannot live Those were one of the best scenes of JA shot till now 👏 And Rt reinstated his status from every fans eyes 😆

Though they were many romantic scenes of Akdha later , this was that first which made us swoon over their love even before they declared it to one another That was the specialty of our lead couples and the magic created by this show , which will never leave anyone's heart 😳

Another very good and emotional episode; and the full episode goes to Jalal only.😳😃 RT carried the episode in his shoulder perfectly, and we can feel the emotional trauma of Jalal throughout. [Though when he was crying at Dargah honestly speaking I was not feeling crying, rather laughing.😛 No it was not at all the fault of the actor, as he did the sequence so realistically that it was looking like he himself was crying; it is my own problem from childhood, I cannot hold my laughter when a strong male character that too with stout figure and mustache starts crying loudly on the TV screen.😆😆 Don't take me as a cruel emotionless person for this.😛]
For a change, I liked Ruqaiya also in this episode. When a real trouble comes in path, human forgets all the personal resentments or ego-problems and tries to come out from that danger together...This very natural thing happened with Ruqaiya too. Maybe her mentality for jodha didn't change a bit, but still when Jodha is dying she drops tear, she prays to God for her recovery. And she is not doing these as she is aware of Jalal's feelings and so trying to show off, or from any gratitude for saving Jalal's life- as if it had been this effect would have lasted longer; she is doing all these as these are very common responses from any woman, and Ruqaiya proves here that in spite of her status and ego, she is not different from any common person when real danger strikes at door.
Ruqaiya's instant justice for Benazir was apt. No other punishment would have been better for her. And the little hug of Jalal and Ruqs was a normal reaction. No problem with that... rather it would have been offensive to Ruqu if Jalal had given a cold shoulder and had sat beside Jodha like before.😊

The increasing restlessness of Jalal beside Jodha's bed has been reflected so perfectly with each and every gestures of him. At the very first he was steady enough to consult with the doctor about her health. The guilt of being solely responsible for Jodha's condition that was eating him out from inside did not hesitate to come out at that situation, even after his mother's consolation that burden did not reduce too; but that was only a guilty-feeling perhaps... he had not lost the control over his brain, he was cool enough to charge Zakira and brought the anti-dote too... He wanted to see her cured as soon as possible as he will not be able to live with the load of the grief in his heart.

But with the time going on, the ray of hopes becoming dim, Jalal slowly started to lose that control from his mind. We witness to see him in a devastated state of mind beside his beloved. He states to his sister from his heart that nothing is more important than Jodha's life to him...😳

Just the moment blood came out from Jodha's face, and the signs of the life started to disappear from her face slowly, we see Jalal to break down totally... he was now even beyond of the guilt that has overpowered his mind just a moment ago, he was now fearing... Fearing to lose her forever. In the restlessness he could not sit vacant by her side to see her dying in each moment; he got out of the room, with a heavy rock of pain strangulating him from inside...

We had a very small sequences of back to back flashback snaps while following Jalal to his path of mosque, and those scenes are, for me, very significant in this situation... Especially one. He does not remember the harsh rejection of Jodha via the humiliating 'dhakka' at that infamous night; he does not remember any of her words that had burnt his budding love in heart in pain and anger... he only remembers the scene where she had taken his hands in her own hand with all the warmth she had in her heart. 😭 While roaming in the series of all these memories with Jodha, which does not include any type of ego, hypocrisy and grudge, perhaps he discovered for the first time that he is unable to live without her...

The famous confession of Jalal in dargah follows after this... While praying for his beloved's life in front of the Ultimate he could not hold the control on his tears anymore. The rock of agony that was chocking him from inside broke out in form of heavy tears. There was none in between him and his God [ignoring the priests if there was any in the time of confession], and in front of Him he confessed that he will die without Jodha. I liked the term 'mar jayenge' much than 'jee nehi payenge' as it is much crude, much direct and overall expressed Jalal's helplessness and the truthfulness of his heart. The dialogues were very simple, and that simplicity brings out the beauty of those along with the sequence, as they were coming out from the heart of a devastated lover who can do anything to bring back his love...😳

And as always, thank u so much for the wonderful description of the beautiful episode.🤗

Harshu di...Amazing write-up di! 👏 You're always on a roll while writing about our dearest jaan Begum! ⭐️😆 A witch punishing another witch! 😆 Loved it! And very true indeed! 👏😡

I would have loved it, had Jalal himself punished Benzo. But anyway, at least she's gone now. As you said, the thing is that they made a witch punish another! 😡

In the next scene, Jalal looks lost to me. This is too much for a shock to him. Just yesterday thi Begum of his was all up in arms to fight with him ( according to him, and for us, she was ready to fight FOR him ), and now here she is, lying almost lifeless. This fact is kinda difficult for him to digest, I guess. As realization sets in later, we see him in tears.

Well I agree with Jalal finally. It was his fault, and it definitely was. I agree he tried, but we can't deny that all his decisions were also supported by his own assumption of Jo's jealousy for Benazir, and these were driven by his ego. 🤢 I have said ' also supported', for Zakira's well - being was the main reason for everybody to not believe Jodha.

All his guilt comes out in the form of the lashing of Zakira. And what a witch she is! Knowing that Jo is dying, she still isn't ready to give away the antidote's secret. Oh God! This is disgusting! 🤢

And I'm glad to see Jalal''s brain working even in these dire situations. This is what symbolizes an emperor. He is the one who's ready for everything, no matter how much shock does it give him. While all the rest could do was, shed a bucket full of tears at Jo's bedside. 🤢 I am seriously hating SB in this track now. 😡🤢

And yes, a noteworthy thing is, Maham is going to be on a maun-vrat throughout this phase, starting from yesterday. And I'm already loving it. 😆

Uff...RuqLal scenes...🤢 Why do they have to bring Ruqs in every damn thing? 😡🤢 And Jalal, kya ho jaata hai ise Ruqs ke saamne? 😕 He actually that he was sooo scared by the thought of losing both his begums. Wow Jalal! 👏 You're telling this to the one who was followed by an entire troop headed by Atgah Sahab, and what about the one who has almost nil chances of even living? 😡🤢

After this, we have Jalal crying for the first time, asking Jo to open her eyes. 😳 And from the starting, Jalal keeps on saying that she has to get up she gave her life to save him, as she can't leave him repenting all his life. But not once did he say that he wants her to get up FOR HIM. Coz he wants her, coz he can't live without her. Okay, he can't admit that in front of all maybe. 😆 But at least he could have said that 'FOR HIM' wala line. 😉😳😆 But in this scene, Thank God, he just tells her to open her eyes. 😳😆

Okay, so we have another addition in the shedding-tears band-wagon. 👏 Finally Bakshi Bano has arrived to the side of her dearest Bhabhijaan. 😳😆 And her dear bhaijaan, claims that he can't see anything except Jo. Oh wow! 😳 Well he just saw and hugged Ruqs, then! 😉😆

As soon as he sees blood on her face, I guess he finally realizes how serious the matter actually is! All his fear comes out on the Hakima, in the form of an outburst. Well, it is much needed here, and I do want to see this over-protective Jalal, after the much hated over-insulting Jalal! 😡🤢

So HB thought Jalal might attempt suicide? Maybe. 😆 Or maybe she thought her son may kill anyone in his extreme frustration and anger. 😆 Whatever. 😆

There is a reason Jalal recalls some specific moments from their journey. The first one, her acceptance of not hating him anymore. 😳 Jalal recalls this as he thinks about how much she had trusted him, that she thought he trusted her as well, but alas! He did not, or rather, he hadn't in this particular situation. And this ignorance of his, has brought her to this condition. The second and third, their handholds. 😳 That is symbolic of Jalal remembering the trust she had had in him, to give her hand into his, but Jalal had proved to be unworthy of her trust and confidence.

Lovely scene in the dargah. 😳 Rajat was beyond awesome. He literally rocked it! 👏⭐️ And every dialogue of Jalal was so awesome, that I cannot supposedly bring out the entire scene and its beauty in words. 😳 The way he remembers their moments in the Ajmer Dargah...how she had accepted him and his rituals...hayye...😳 And finally...the much awaited acceptance...or rather confession...of his love...of his life...😳❤️

Loved this line..." Humein us se mehroom mat karo...jiske bina hum reh nahi payenge...jee nahi payenge hum Maalik..." ❤️ And also..." Duniya bhar se humne apne jazbaat chhupaye...par tumse kya chhupana mere maalik..." And also " Gunaah humne kiya hai...sazaa humein do...lekin Jodha Begum ko baksh toh mere Maalik..." ❤️

This was a scene between Jalal and Allah. Only the two of them. The conversation between God and his devotee. And that is pehaps, the main reason of the scene's divinity. ❤️

I loved the final breakdown of Jalal while tying the dhaaga. that looked so real. ❤️ And he also remembered how he had tied a similar dhaaga before also, asking for Jo's wish to be fulfilled. And look now...He's the reason for her death... That's really too much for him to handle...hence the final breakdown...

Great one Shagun!!⭐️
