6. THE REVEAL
"Yes Rukaiya...?" said an old lady's voice.
"ohh...thanks God finally you pick up the phone..I've called you hundred times" rukaiya said annoyingly.
"Relax dear...what's the matter?" Maham Anga said calmly.
"Jodha has comeback" she said
"WHAT???? Jodha? you mean jodha...that Jodha?" Maham Anga can't hide her surprised hearing this name again after so long time.
"of course that Jodha...the one who always snatch my Jalal...that poor girl..." rukaiya said emotionally.
"but..but what the hell she's doing in here?" asked maham anga.
"she works at Jalal's company...I don't know how but she's one of their employee...Look Maham, we have to meet..we need to discuss about it...you know...if Jalal know what we had done, he..." Rukaiya start to feel anxious.
"come on Rukaiya...just relax...she can't do anything, besides she won't tell Jalal everything...she won't have a gut to tell him.." Maham Anga try to calm herself although she felt a little bit anxious.
"yes...but still, we need to discuss about it, just to prepare everything" Said Rukaiya
"of course I'll meet you...but I'll come back maybe in 2 weeks...I still had some business over here...now you try to be relax and pretend nothing happen, ok..."
"Ok then...let me know if you're already here" said Ruk and hung up the phone.
After met Jodha at Jalal's office, she felt worry. She afraid with all the truth happen at the past. She felt worried with her relationship with Jalal. While thingking about this, suddenly she got an idea..."yes,..I'll push ammijaan to ask Jalal to get engaged with me and we have to get married soon" she thought and took her car keys to go to Hamida's house.

Jodha just finished her lunch at the canteen and buy some medicines for her mother. She enter the room and said "Maasa..It's time for you to..." she can't continue her words as she stood freeze seeing Jalal sit and chat nicely with her mother.
"Oh my God...what he's doing in here? what does they talk about? is he come here to..." Jodha get lost in her mind.
"Jodha beta...Jodha..." her mother call her.
"Yes, maasa..." her mother's voice wake her up from her reverie.
"Why you just stand over there dear? come here...look your boss has come to see me...give him a greet" said Maina
"he..hello Sir" Jodha said with a shaken voice.
"Hi Jodha...I am sorry I just come here without telling you before" he said while his eyes never leave her making Jodha uncomfortable.
"It's allright, Sir...I feel honored you want to see me...I never know Jodha has such a kind boss like you" Maina said softly.
"Like I told you before Mam...It's Jalal..Just call me Jalal" he said respectly.
Maina laugh a little "I am sorry...I forget about that"
Jodha who see the entire scene just sit and silence as she didn't know what she has to say. She saw her mother talk to this man familiarly. Sometimes they laugh warmly. After couple minutes, Finally Jalal excused himself and wish her to get better soon while hold her hand.
"Jodha, why don't you take Jalal out" Maina asked Jodha
"Yes Maasa. I'll do it" Jodha stand from her sit and walk to the door.
At Hospital's corridor
Both walk together and just keep silence with their own mind. Jodha thought why he come to meet my mother...how he can be so nice with Maasa...what's his motive...did he want to tell maasaa about the money...but he had promised me...
Meanwhile jalal lost in his mind thingking about his conversation with Abdul this morning.
"Jodha..." Jalal try to break the silence.
"Why do you meet my mother?" Jodha asked directly without looking at his face.
Being aware that she can misunderstood his intention, he said "I just come here to see her Jo...to know her condition...just that.."
"Look Sir..I don't need your symphatize...don't come over here anymore" she said and turn around to go from there.
"No..Jodha wait" Jalal try to stop her but she didn't budge.
"Jodha..." he still try to stop her but she keep walking.
Suddenly a strong hand held her wrist and drag her a little to a quiet spot. He pinned her to the wall and imprisoned her with his hand.
"What the hell are you doing?" Jodha try to release his grip.
"Listen to me Jodha..." he said
"No...I won't hear anything" she shook her head while closed her ears with her hands
"For God sake Jo...please listen to me once..." Jalal plead but Jodha still shook and closed her eyes.
"I said listen to me Jo!!!!" he said with a high tone take her hands from her ears and cupped her face. Jodha still closed her eyes.
"Jo..." his voice soften "Jo...look at me please.." he lift her face a little and she started open her eyes. "Jo...I know we have a pain incidence happened in the past...and I realize it was my mistake to not trust you in that time...I was blind by my anger and jealously...and...and.." he lost his words as it's too pain to say and release her face. Jodha just keep silence.
"and what happen in that night...I know I was act like a jerk..I asked your dignity in changed with money...I've hurt you again and again Jo..." his voice get tremble as he hold his tears.
Then he cupped her face again, closing the distance berween them, and said with a determinant tone "But I will fix everything Jo..I promise you I will fix everything...my mistake is too big to forgive Jo, I know it...but still I want to apologize...I beg you to forgive me...I am sorry Jodha"
Their closeness, his touch on her face, his soft pleading voice...they all make her confused how to react...she feel doubt...at a moment she feel weak...she had seen a guilty feeling in his eyes...for a moment she feel she want to trust him...
Then the two pained soul began to feel that same feeling everytime they touch. The atmosphere start to change from a tensed in to a intimate one. Then both closer their face and finally their lips meet. They kissed softly, full of yearning, pain, guilty, and of course...love. After some minutes, Jalal break the kiss and said "I already know what happen to your life after I leaved you three years ago, Jo...I feel guilty and pain knowing that fact...I wish I can go back in that time...so you don't have to suffer like that"
Hearing his words she get extremely shocked and push him away "You know??? You already know? You know what happen 3 years ago?" she said as she didn't want to believe to what he just said.
"Yes Jo...but not everything...I am still looking for the truth...the real truth..." he keep talking but his explanation only fall to her deaf ears.
"No...no...don't find the truth...don't find it, please...otherwise you will..." she get stop as she remember something horrible. "I beg you Jalal...please...just go away...just go from me...from my life..." she cried while fold her hands infront of her chest as she plead him.
"But Jo..." Jodha released herself and run away from there.
"Jo wait..." he call her but she keep running leaving Jalal stood there while looking at her confusingly.

Two week over and Jodha prepare to bring her mother back to their home. Her health getting better everyday and doctor decided she can go home but she still need to take a control to make sure she's totally fine.
Meanwhile Jalal still feel restless as he hasn't find Surya yet. Abdul said that after the incidence, he too leave the college and no one in the college know where he go. He also try to track his family, but still he hasn't find him yet.
Park his car in front of the entrance door of the hospital, he wait Jodha and her mother to take their home. He know from the doctor that today her mother may go home. He didn't want to show up early at hospital as Jodha must be refused his offer. After their last talking, they never meet again but he always send flowers and food to the hospital everyday even he still come to the hospital sometimes but just talk to her mother as jodha always deny to meet him.
He got out of the car immediately when he spot Jodha and her mother walk out from the hospital.
"Mam..." he called Maina
"Jalal? What are you doing here?" asked Maina
"I will take you home Mam...come" he said while he opened the car's door and grab the suitcase from Jodha's hand. Jodha didn't get a chance to say no as she still surprised with his act and stood still.
"Please...come in Mam" his voice wake Jodha from her lost and was about to say something but Jalal has led her mother to the back seat and closed the door.
"You'll come with us, don't you?" he asked humourly with a smiled on his lip making Jodha get annoyed and sit in the front seat.
During the trip, Jalal and her mother chat and laugh lightly as they have been known each other for a long time meanwhile Jodha just keep silence.
"So Jalal...did you know that I'll go home today"? Maina asked
"Yes Mam...I asked the doctor when they give you permission to go out" he answered
"ohh please, Son...don't call me Mam...just call me aunty, ok...it makes me feel younger" she said jokingly.
"ok then aunty...as you wish" he said with a smiled on his face making Jodha get more irritated with this duo talking.
"areee Jodha...why do you just keep silence...are you sick?" maina asked worriedly.
"naaa maasa...it's nothing" she answered botherly.
Meanwhile Jalal smiled get widen seeing this irritating Jodha.
"oww Jodha...hear this song" Maina said suddenly as she listen to a song in the radio.
it's a song you like to sing Jo...You know Jalal...Jodha's voice is amazing...it makes the world get stop...you should listen to her once when she sing" Maina said seriously making Jodha get more annoyed while Jalal hold his chuckled.
beep..beep...Jodha's phone rang. She read the message "I would love to hear you sing again Jo... :)"
Jalal closed his phone and chuckled seeing her reaction after reading his message.
"turn left over there...just concentrate when driving, sir" she said irkedly.
Finally they arrived at Jodha's home. Looking at the house Jalal feel sad and emphaty. The house is very small and located in a slum area. He never know before that Jodha live in such a place. I will change your life Jo...we will change our fate together...he said in his mind.
"So this is our home Jalal...come in please, I'll make you some tea" Maina offered him
Jodha was about to protest but Jalal's phone rang, it's Abdul.
"Yes?"
"Jalal...we find him...he's in Singapore..."
"prepared My flight...I'll come there now" his voice turned cold and hang up the phone. "I am sorry aunty...but I have to go now...there's a concern that I have to take care...I'll drink your tea next time" he said to Maina while holding her hand and she nod, smiled and enter the house leaving jalal and jodha.
"I have to leave Jo...and I promised you I'll manage everything between us after this...take care yourself" he said lovingly.
Jodha was worried whether this concern related to the truth he's looking for, she was going to say "be careful" but canceled it as she didn't want show her care toward him. She just nod and he leaved.

A tall handsome man opened his eyes and feel dizzy. He tried to remember where he was and what has happened to him. Then he remember he was about to go out from his penthouse but some men surrounded him and one of them closed his mouth with a piece of cloth and then he got unconscious.
He try to get up from the chair but failed since he still feel dizzy and then he heard the door get opened and he try to focused his eyes looking at the man standing infront of him and get shocked.
"Jalal...??? Is that you? What are you doing here?" asked the man
Jalal sit infront of him and look at his eyes with the killing aura. "Yes it's me Surya...I am Jalal and I come here to get the truth from your mouth" he said.
"truth?? What truth?" surya asked confusingly.
"Don't you dare to pretend to know nothing you b*st**d!!!! What the hell you had done to Jodha 3 years ago???" he yelled loudly as he start his blood boiling inside.
"Jodha?? 3 years ago?? Oh God...what are you talking about..." he really get confused but then suddenly widen his eyes get extremely shocked realizing a fact. "did you still don't know what happen 3 years ago??...oh gosh"
"what do you mean?? Of course I didn't know...you...you're the one who know what happened 3 years ago...because it's you who had broke my Jodha...it's you...and now speak!!!...I want the fully truth...no lied otherwise I'll crush your bone" he clenched his hands as he hold his angry.
Surya take a deep breath...it's really surprising him that Jalal still didn't know what exactly happened 3 years ago. "so it's mean Jodha never told you the truth..."
"what???? She know the truth???" now jalal who get shocked hearing this news.
"yes, she did...look jalal, I know I was wrong...I acted like a b*st*rd in that time..I did a fault, a big sin... But I already admitted and told her everything two days after the incident...I didn't know she didn't tell you about this" Surya said
Then Jalal remembered that after the incident Jodha try to meet him twice but he refused it. But after that he never hear anything about her again and he too leaved India not so long after the incident. "did she try to tell me the truth?" he thought. "then what's the f*cking truth you hide from me all this time?" he asked him again.
"after the incident, I feel very guilty for her...I realize my mistake...you know I love her Jalal..."
"yes I know...and you do a dirty way to separate us.." jalal cut him and said indignantly.
"Let me finish it first Jalal...yes, I love her, but then I realize she's not love me...her love only for you..." he said with a clear burden in his tone. Then he continue " I was blinded by my love for her...I feel jealous with you...I thought I can get her with this way...but I was wrong...I was an egoistic lover...so I accept when the woman make an offer for me...she said I can make Jodha mine if I did that..."
"woman?? What woman?? Who are you talking about?" jalal get confused
"I did nothing to her Jalal...the video was a fake...I never touch her...one day she gave her a drink containing sleeping pills...and then she undressed her and called me to pretend sleep with her... I swear I never did anything to her Jalal...what you see in the video is I only touched her arm but I did nothing more than that...even she told me that I can do everything with Jodha, but I didn't..." he explained it in detail. "Jodha was angry when I explained this to her and saying my regret...she cursed me...and after that I leave that country and move here...I never heard anything again about her...I live myself with a guilty feeling all over this years" he said with sincerity in his tone.
Jalal saw a truth and a guilt in his eyes...but he still didn't get clearly with his story..."you said you accept the woman's offer? What do you mean? Who is she?"
"she's rukaiya...your best friend...she love you Jalal...and she willing to do anything to separate you from Jodha...once I followed her game but I regret it..." surya said
Jalal can't believe on what he hear minutes ago...he get shocked...he got speechless..."rukaiya...but..." then he remember she was the first one who showed him the video and after the incident she always try to keep connected with him...even one day she came after him at UK and for his mother sake eventually he agreed to make a relationship with her.
Now he understood...everything get clearly for him...but one thing he still doubt, why Jodha never try hard to tell him about this...or did she try but I was the one who didn't care...or maybe she was too angry and dissapointed with me...he thought
"I am sorry Jalal...I had break your relationship with Jodha...I.." he can't continue his words as Jalal punched him hard on his face make he felt on the floor.
"that's for our broken relationship..." and then he take his collar and make him stood and punched him again "and that's for Jodha's miserable life..." he loose his balance and was about to fall again but Jalal hold him and said "and this last one for your cowardice" he punched him again at his nose make his nose got bleed severely and then leaved him.
