Chapter 1

She cried herself to sleep that night. Somehow that day seemed to be a bad day for her. First she had cried when she met Jalal and then later when her aunt upset her. She took out her phone and gazed at the photo that always sooth her when she feels down.

The photograph was of both Jalal and her on their first date, it was one of the best days in her life. The first being the day he proposed to her asking her if she would marry him, yet the day they had being constantly waiting for never came.

The next morning, Jodha left her house earlier than usual as she wanted to avoid her aunt. She went to meet Jalal yet again and poured out all of her worries and frustrations to him hoping to find some comfort from him.

Jalal always found a way to lift her mood and make her day a happy one. Today was no different as he indeed took all her worries away. She knew then that everything will be fine.

When Jodha reached that evening, she was surprised to find her aunt chatting away with a middle aged lady.

"Jodha, you are home? Come and meet my friend." Lavanya called Jodha.

Jodha went over and greeted the lady.

"Oh, you must be Jodha. How are you? Your aunt was right, you are indeed pretty."

"I am fine aunty and thank you. You are?" Jodha questioned.

"This is my friend that I told you about yesterday. Suryabhan's mother, Rekha."

As realization came to Jodha, she was filled with anger. How dare her aunt Lavanya do this to her?! She had clearly said that she doesn't want to get married and yet her aunt had ignored her. Jodha was forced to sit through the whole affair, listening to Rekha gushing over her son and how she and Suryabhan was a match made in heaven which almost snapped Jodha's patience.

Seriously, what is going on in her life?! Why is her life so messed up? But then again she knew very well that nothing good has taken place in her life ever since that day. As Rekha left, Jodha retired to her room not wanting to worsen her headache by staying there in the presence of her aunt.

After she freshened up, Jodha walked over to her balcony and looked up into the star filled sky. Just then she saw a shooting star and wished upon it asking it to make her wish come true before heading back to her room. She fell into a deep slumber and was jerked awake when she heard someone calling out to her.

"Jodha."

Do you want Jalal to be Jalal / Jalal to look like Jalal but is not really Jalal ?

I know it doesn't really make sense but I can't tell you exactly what it means without revealing the storyline.😆

Sorry for the delay, lot have happened after new year, and sorry for not sending out any pms, I'm having a busy week.

I know the chapter is short but for this story, the chapters will be short.
