Jo walks away finds a comfy chair and sits quietly sipping her iced tea watching Jalal and Ruks, Jalal's left hand was wrapped around her waist, holding carrying a wine glass on the other maintaining casual conversation, occasionally sipping wine as his eyes tracked Jo...they openly flirted ... shuts her eyes tightly to block out the view but memories of the night before flashed like a movie... the same hands that touch her, the same lips that adored her body was grazing on another woman ... her emotions spiraled out of control and she could not take it anymore, gets up abruptly and walks out ... Jalal grabs and pulls her into a dark quiet corner ...she pulls away, he tries to explain, she was beyond furious and in no mood to listen ...angrily he grabs her chin forcing her to look at him "open your eyes and look into mine, I will not let you go till you look at me" slowly she pouts and looks into his eyes ...as he angrily "okay, what the hell is your problem?"
"I don't have a problem" she yelled, "I'm tired and want to go home" unable to control her irritation, her mind was running a mile a minute as she tried to come to grips with everything that happened. "don't be spoiled sport, Jo, this is just the beginning, this is how our lives will be in the public eye ..., what happens between me and ruks is just acting on my part, I have explained what my relationship with Ruks is like, it takes a lot for her to be civil to most people but she is being nice to you, and when we are out in public she puts up a show for the world to see her trophy husband, she is still legally my wife Jo, when she kisses me I fake kiss her back, it is just lip service without any feeling from me, I don't do it with my heart" Jo shakes her head tries to pulls away almost panicking "damn it Jo, what do want me to do, leave her and run to you and ruin everything ?" breathing heavily Jo raises her eyebrow giving him googly eyes and a sad pout, Jalal sighs gives up attempting to calm her and makes it clear that her attitude was annoying him, his voice was tight and clipped. Realization washed over her as she fought to keep tears at bay, "Jodha if you choose not to believe me, that's you choice and decision, but you not trusting me is completely another issue" his eyes flashed cold anger. Tears welled up in her eyes, her lips trembled between her teeth, "I want to go home I can't stand being her any longer, I can't calm down here" her vision was blurring with tears. Jalal's face softened "home?, Jodha please,can we talk about this later, I want you here, just knowing you are in the room gives me peace of mind" Tear escapes sliding down her cheeks "we just tried to talk Jalal, I don't know what to say, tonight has made me see a lot of things about how relationship will look on the outside and how it makes me feel on the inside, please I want to go" They stood staring at each other for what seemed like ages, finally taking a long breath she breaks the connection, feels the tension snap "okay, fine, leave" taking a step back gestures towards the door. Jo runs out to the line of waiting taxis, she turns and sees him watching her from the door "Jodha" his voice stops her "please let me know when you get home" once in the cab, she succumbs to her tears and cries all the way home reflecting on her complicated life, she was in love with a player ...
She calls her dadimma, "I felt so awful, I have never felt so humiliated and insecure, I tried to explain to Jalal and he did not understand me" she sobbed as she went to explains how Jalal and Ruks danced together, how Ruks sat on his lap at the bar smoking, "Jo beta, you have to stop doing this to yourself, you knew what you were getting into, it is very obvious that you love him a lot that why you broke traditions and you convictions be in a relationship with him, I strongly believe in fate and one cannot run away from fate... don't you feel like you and Jalal met for a reason? Your first meeting was not random, circumstances brought you together, you hated him, then you got pregnant, fell in love with your baby and slowly developed feelings for your baby's father, you lost the baby and almost died, in anger he left you, fate brought you both together again he came back to you, now you have a relationship with him, no one can turn back the clock ... only time will tell, give your love a chance and stop judging him beta, because you are punishing yourself beta for his cliche" Jo continued tearing up as she listened quietly, "things will be okay, relax and go to sleep, you'll feel much better in the morning" After she hung up she lay in bed analyzing what her grandmother told her ... Jalal cared for her more than Ruks, feels stupid for over reacting, and all of a sudden all she could think was how much she missed Jalal, and because of her stupid jealousy she will not see him for a whole week "I am leaving for Japan after dinner, I'll come to you for some loving before I leave, I need to stock up for the week" recalls his loving gaze when her whispered to her at dinner... Pulls out her phone, 1235am, stares hopefully, no texts, perhaps he left was flying, his jet has wifi, the uncertainty of their situation was creeping up on her, feels panic rise in her chest, wonders if she ruined everything by her show of jealous insecurity?
Shakes off the thought talking to her grandmother had eased some of her fears, recalling the night before, he made it very clear that his feeling for her was unique and strong ...runs different scenerios in her head falls asleep when her phone buzzed, jumps up into sitting position and stares blankly in the dark, her phone illuminated the room signaling a new text message "I'm coming in, don't be scared J" her heart leaped to her throat and begins pounding, leaping out of bed rushes to the door, looks through the peephole and sees his familiar frame, hurriedly unlatches and opens the door "Jodha I'm sorry babes" he whispered, tears welled up again, her voice curved "Jalal" reaching for him as he stepped in throwing her arms around his neck clings to him... something ignited deep within her, standing on her toes pulled his face close "I'm sorry Jalal" she whispered, rubbing her nose against his, he shuts the door picks her up "I could not leave without seeing you, I can't bear to see you unhappy Jo, " quickly they ended in a mess of hands, lips and heaving breathing, hungry kisses, lusty moans, body tango, intensified flames of passion took over as she wrapped her legs around his waist ...movement grew quicker and more frenzied as need overtook them into a haze of pleasure and emotion, nothing else mattered but being one together ...masking moans, reaching peaks Jalal's breath was hard and slow against her neck as he floated back to earth with Jo in his arms, chest heaving, sweaty limbs, his weight on top of her felt heavenly as she clung to him in bliss...
Breathing heavy he laid back in bed pulling her against his chest "Jodha" he said softly kissing her head "we need to talk about earlier now" wrapped snugly in his arms "ugh, do we really have to Jalal?" she pouts, drawing circles on the baby foot print on his chest ... he grabs her hand and nodded "you know we do" she sighs heavily and pulls back propping herself on her elbow, he gives her a reassuring look "so tell me, why the insecurity, why the jealousy, you don't trust me?" he asks reaching for her hair "tell me what's going on in your head that is wrong" playing with it between his fingers "nothing Jalal, at the moment nothing is wrong" he rolls his eyes "do I have to force it out of you?" she grins, gives him a coy look, leans forward, kisses him and whispers "yes please Jalal" he smirks "Jodha, come on" Jo sighs "okay, I have yet to come to terms that you are married and are still involved with your wife, I know how you see me and what you feel for me, but today I was having a hard time believing you, trusting you, I couldn't understand how you could kiss another woman after what happened between us, knowing I was watching ...knowing I would be hurt" Jalal grips her chin and leans forward "you have to believe me Jodha, it is called trust, I will not knowingly hurt you, and if it hurts you to see me with Ruks, I want to close your eyes and think of our baby, murdered by her and her father" he was gazing at her with such sincerity, her heart squeezed in her chest ... his phone buzzed again "its my alarm, I have to go" she straddles him and lays on his chest and pouts "no, you don't have to go" Jalal wraps his arms around her and kisses her head "I have to go Jo, duty calls, you know billionaires don't like to be stood up" he rolls her on her back pins her into the bed "moreover you have to finish decorating our penthouse, so I don't have to crawl in like a thief" kisses her and chuckles disentangling himself from her arms "I'll miss you when you're gone Jalal" she yells as he walked into the shower ...
The week went by quick, Jo was going crazy, Salima helped her get the penthouse decorated and organized and she wanted to surprise Jalal when he came back, by Thursday she was going crazy, Ruks insisted on meeting up with her "Jodha, you know christmas and newyears is coming up in 3 weeks, I plan to introduce you to my clients during the holiday seasons, I want you to accompany me to cocktails and everywhere we go, we have to make a fashion statement and come January you will officially be on my payroll" Ruks made Jo get a whole new wardrobe... Jalal texted frequently but seldom called "time difference -J" he texted when she asked why, she was aching to hear his voice, feel his arms around her ... "there have been so moments this week I have ached to dissolve in your arms, one more night, I'll be in your arms -J" he texted Friday night and by Saturday Jo was all fired up, penthouse decorated and move in ready, she had no intention of being prude Jalal was coming home for Saturday and leaving back Monday ...
Lay in silence for a while content with the simple presence of each other listening to the slowing rhythm of their heart beats, Jalal shifted so his head was resting on her chest, Jo idly ran her fingers through his hair ... Jo tells him of all that happened the week, updates him on Rukiaya's plan to introduce her, Jalal listens does not say a word, Jo punches him "Jalal, I've been talking to you and ..." " I've been thinking" he cuts her off ... "I've been thinking, we need a honeymoon, I can't take being away from you for 7 days in a row again" Jo gives him a confused look "what?" he laughs "we have to go on our honey moon because I have a constant need to be with you, and then I will have to add a Jclause to all my travel plans, I have never felt anything like this before, I could go weeks without any sexual contact but now I don't' think I can do with you, I will have to find ways to tag you along with me or meet up half way" Jo giggles "J Clause?" he mimicks her "yes Jclause, Jodha clause, like in I need sexy love in bed" Jo rolls her eyes "Jalal .. once I start working for Ruks, she has a really hectic scheduled for me ... she has me planning and coordinating the channel fashion show in NY, Paris, Cannes and London ... she plans to keep me as far away from you as possible, and she has me schedule for Tag Heur photo shoot end of Jan in Switzerland and a charity photoshoot for people magazine... Soon, I be jet setting around the world as well ... He hovers above her his fingers working through her hair "lucky me" he leaned close placing a soft kiss on her lips, presses his forehead against hers and whispers "I'll find a way to meet you wherever you are my necessity, once you get your schedule I have to have my PA merge your calendar with mine to include Jclause"
The next few weeks flew by like whirlwind, with help from Salima, Jo managed get the penthouse ready and they moved into the penthouse Jalal was impressed with Jo's laid back sleek and comfy interior decoration, and spent the rest of the day in bed going at it like bunnies on heat Jalal decided to mark every flat surface with sex "when I am not home everywhere you turn you'll be reminded of me, our love, our love making "...left Monday and came home Wednesday left Thursday again... Jo's life got busy as well, dress fittings, spas, and attending cocktail parties with Ruks, she called it "mingling" insisting "so when you do your photo shoot for Tag Heur, your face will be familiar, then paps will hound you making you the popular and most sought after, it's call flirting with paparazzi" Jalal came home 3 times and had to wait for Jo, ticking him off, Jo avoided alcohol and stuck to drinking iced tea which annoyed the hell out of Ruks, "Jo, you have to loosen up Jodha, in this business you need to learn to mingle and jingle, wine and dine, no wonder Jalal can't stand you miss goodie two shoes" slowly but steadily Ruks worked on Jo's thought process, broke down some of the barriers Jo had built around herself, helping her emerge as a new stronger and a much more self-confident Jo, Jalal begrudgingly tried to overlook the subtle changes in Jo, he noticed her cocktail dresses were more daring, shorter, he was never a controlling person, but something in his relationship with Jo made him possessive ...Jalal would show up at the cocktails and hang around Ruks flirting knowing it ticked Jo off he'd watch her leave and follow her home for makeup sex...
"I'm sorry Jodha, I wanted to be there to kick ass for your very first photoshoot, but unfortunately my business needs me unexpectedly ... I have to go or loose millions, I chose the millions" gives her quick instructions "I am not sure who the male model will be, I have put in a good word for surya," Jo panics, "don't go crazy Jodha, all they want is a stud body his face won't be shown, and wearing flimsy lingerie you'll have to kiss his chest or pretend to kiss atleast, it's a watch advertisement how romantic can that be?" Jo was nervous as hell when she realized that she would have to spend an entire afternoon with make up artists and photographers, getting primped and polished for the photoshoot with "the most popular hunk of a man" her level of anxiety jumped a mile away from her heart, jittery feeling slowly rose within her, the only thing that kept her somewhat stable was Jalal's promise "you trust me right? Then don't worry, Jo I find a way to be there with you, how will I let another guy get close to you?" Jo slips into a white soft satin flimsy lingerie that hung loosely on her body but clung to her ample curves like second skin, dressed and ready, looks at her reflection in the mirror, Jalal wound definitely not approve, begins to take it off, looks up and sees Jalal leaning against the door watching her, "don't" he whispers, slowly he walks in, Jo closes her eyes "you finally came" his fingers gently ghost over her shoulders pushing the straps off her shoulders, kisses her shoulders whispering "let me have the pleasure of taking it off, you are beautiful baby" pressing kisses along her neck "yes, I finally came, how can I let another guy see you, feel you?" Jo turns into his chest hugging him. He explains, how he created the emergency for Ruks, "I know the person that does the advertising for Tag Heur, and forced my way in" she leans back against his chest, relaxing "I'm so happy you are here to share this with me Jalal, if this is how lavish things are for a simple watch advertisement photoshoot, I wonder how it will be for real fashion runway?" she voices her thoughts out loud Jalal smiles and gives her his million dollar smirk and whispers "there will be no more photoshoots after this, I can't share you with the world Jodha, just the thought of perv guys using your image in conjunction to playing with themselves to get off their pent up sexual fantasies is driving me crazy" Jo gives him a really you are not serious look rolling her eyes as he continued "if someone told me a year ago that the highlight of my life would be a woman, I would have quickly told them to shut the f**k up that will never happen to me, Jalaluddin Mohammed, I will never follow a woman' but the moment you walked into my life my entire world turned on its axis, and this past month I have been learning to leave my work at the office, I have given my administrators and managers more responsibility, I have cut back on travel so we can enjoy my relationship"

I'm sorry Jo ... anyway, right now is not the time to discuss this, let's get this over with, but you definitely won't be wearing that" After a lot of discussion back and forth, finally agrees to her wearing a pink bodycon sheath wrapped in 6 meters of white chiffon flowing out from head to her thighs, leaning and kissing the tattooed baby foot on his chest her face barely visible, her hand with tag watch lay against his shoulder...bare chested wearing only his jeans that hung low on his waist leaning against the wall on leg propped back against it, his hand with the tag watch on her mid back ... Jalal carefully went through every frame before he approved 3 shots out of the countless shots that were taken and had them delete the rest of it ... soon they were on a private jet "Jalal, what happened to your jet?" he chuckled, "I had to draw wool over Ruks plan, it is taking Surya on a round the world trip and I took the jet arranged for him with the crew"
New year's eve was an iconic night for Jo, Ruks launched her modelling career and arranged a party to celebrate it with a bang ...Surya escorted Jo to the party, Jo nervously tapped her foot on the marble floor of the elevator going up to the ballroom, checks herself out on the reflection ... perfectly matched outfit hugging her body -icy midnight blue and silver readymade saree sitting snug on her curves, complete with sweaty palms. Jo feels someone watching looks up and catches Surya eyeballing her, the smirk on his face as he laughed at her nervousness "what are you nervous about, you have already met more than half the people here tonight, the only sore point, you will get reacquainted with your enemy Mr Sultan...the elevator came to a stop and they stepped out, soon Jo was caught in a whirlwind of activity, introductions, congrats, hugs, chaste kisses ... finally what she was dreading the most happened Mr Sultan was walking towards her, her heart began to race, already stressed and tensed feels the static air around her get thicker ...quickly she turns to leave, but too late ... his deep annoying voice stopped her "looks like you recovered well ... did not take my advice, you should have thought about the consequences, let me warn you to stay away from Jalal, my daughter might be foolish I am not, you might be engaged and all, I spoke with your father and he is hell bent on getting you married off soon ...but I can also feel the current between you and Jalal, I have been watching ... your stolen glances ... like I told you before my daughter is my priority and you know what I am capable of" Surya steps in "What business do you have with my future wife? She told me about the torture you put her through ... don't you dare interfere in her life ever again, you might have money and wealth, but I have media connections, I can chase you to hell and back" Surya pulls Jo against his chest in a light embrace giving Ruks father a show of possession ... this did not unnoticed by Jalal ...who was dancing away with Ruks ..Mr Sultan huffs "well, she walked back into my daughter's life" Surya cuts him off "your daughter came after her and begged her to join her company ... you daughter is managing her modelling career" Surya releases her as Mr Sultan walks away ...The party continued ... it was almost midnight the dance floor was filled with tangled couples, she found herself being pulled away by Jalal into the elevator and he stops it midway ...his penetrating gaze on her in the mirrored walls of the elevator "close your eyes" he whispered, holding her head on his chest ...Jo slowly closed her eyes "listen to my heart, every beat is for you even when you are away from me...this was a very difficult night for me to watch you with Surya, staying away from you knowing Ruks father is having me watched has been the hardest ... do you know how brave you looked facing him? you have already faced the worst and we have nothing to be nervous about ... there is nowhere else on this earth I'd rather be tonight, what better way for me to ring in the new year ...his body collided with hers pushing her against the wall pressing himself against her, cupping her face, bends his head capturing her lips ... "happy new year baby, for the rest of my lift I want every new to begin with you ...always" she responds to his fierce kiss, whispering "I love you Jalal more than you can ever imagine" he pulls away ... "I am leaving now, you hang around with Surya and Mirza and be home by 1 am ... I'll be waiting for you ...when she went home that night, Jalal carried her to bed ...they had a marathon sexual reconnection leaving her tired and aching feeling complete ... together they leapt forward with a renewed determination to shower each other with love ...they settled to sleep in the early hours of the morning taking comfort in the thoughts of their new beginning "we have yet a lot to overcome, I don't think the hardest part is over, but with you by my side I can achieve all" Jalal's words comforted her but Sultans voice "if you go anywhere near Jalal I'll kill you" lingered in her brain ...closing her eyes decides not to worry about it anymore, she would life to the fullest ... snuggles closer to him ...
The following weeks and months were hectic ..."I'll guide you coordinate this channel fashion show as this is your first experience" Jo started her job "her PA called out sick - food poisoning, so please only today cover for her, you just have to make sure her day runs as smooth as possible" and working with Ruks was like working with a bitch with two horns, materialism, conceited and delusional was Jo's quick analysis of Ruks ... Jo met her office staff, stylist, hairdresser, chef, everyone was fawning over her, ass kissing, lots of ass kissing ... Ruks was much worse that Meryl Streep in the movie the Devil wear Prada ...she treated everyone like they had some sort of disease ...Ruks gave her a quick orientation of the place, a large room covered in racks and racks of clothes that were wrapped in clear cellophane garment bags, endless rows of shoes, heels, flats boots, arranged according to sizes and color shades against the wall, another corner with clutches, purse, another shelf with gloves --- and finally in the far end rings, bracelets, necklaces and ear rings arranged neatly in individual boxes ... every piece in the room was arranged "there is a method to this madness" Ruks said as they walked by "everyone here has a role to play, today we will be dressing 10 models, that does not seem like a lot but when you are trying to create eye popping looks for each of them keeping in mind their body type in a matter of minutes ...it is a big undertaking" The whole experience was new to Jo, she was swamped by the end of the day she felt like walking out the door seriously wanting to hand in her resignation ... crashes at her office finally to check her emails and to rest her tired feet when Ruks walks in carrying a suit "Jodha, please I need a favor, a big favor" Jo remains calm, rolls her eyes, all day long she was doing favors for her "well I completely forgot Jalal has to attend a fund raising dinner hosted by the NY city mayor, he needs this" handing her the suit "he just texted me, I am unable to accompany him, my work is more important than meeting the NY city mayor, so can you be his arm candy tonight as well ... just for appearances sake?" laughs arrogantly "why am I asking you, I'm ordering you to do it, drop this off and be his personal Barbie doll he will be surrounded by crazy interns vying for his attention, you can keep an eye on him for me, please... you'll be meeting a bunch of VIPs" Jo hesitates weighing her options, parading with Jalal without igniting sparks will be difficult, "Ruks, you know I don't like him, moreover Surya may get mad" she whines to side track her "I know Jodha, I know you don't, I know he is temperamental and can be a jerky ass, but this is not about whether you like him or not, our plan is to get him interested in you and this is a good opportunity"
The following day when she went in to work Ruks looked at Jo, narrowing her eyes, glancing at the TV then at Jo and with each pass her eyes kept getting wider and wider "Jodha, what happened yesterday, see yourself on TV" Ruks dragged her into her office and glares at her giving her the kind of look a mother gives her kids when they get in trouble, throws some pictures at her "see these pictures" Jo picks them up and sees pictures of her and Jalal, Jo stood away from him but her eyes were fixed on him, Jo innocently asks "what about these pictures, I am standing away from him" Ruks laughs, don't play stupid with me Jodha" her voice lowered Jo fights back "I am not playing, Rukiaya, I'm clueless as to what you're talking about" she huffs shooting off a nasty look "look at yourself, starry eyed and drooling at Jalal, looks like you still have a soft spot for him ...and that is not part of the plan" Jo snorts and rolls her eyes "Rukiaya, that's not true, you forced me to accompany him as his escort, I would have rather spent my time hanging out with my friend Moti and Surya ofcourse ... I just could not run away from him" Ruks smirks "I would have done that, Jodha, Listen, let me give you one very useful advice, don't get emotionally involved with Jalal, he is a very dark character, he'll burn you and walk away ... your role is to bait him to come after you ..." Ruks continues to look at the pictures "you have to use your power play skills, tantalize in front of him and attract him, but don't give in, he'll give you his phone number don't call him, he'll send you flowers, don't acknowledge it ... show him you are not interested ...that will bring him to his feet ... you have to make him feel desperate, you have to tickle his ego and force him to want to see you again, looking at the video clips, he had his eyes on you most of the night, so trust me, when you deny him the pleasure of your body, it is going to make him to want you more and more, you'll become his forbidden obsession, he'll come after you more, and more and we can frame a sexual harassment charges on him"
Jo felt disgusted listening to Rukiaya, forces a smile as she continues ...
AND SO THE SCHMEXING continues ...sorry ...I know, I know this story is going in circles ...could not fit the story line properly in my head ...so just jotted carelessly without much flow to the story ...but I promise I will be back and bring on track soon ... see you all in 2 weeks ...
