hii shyamala aunty...I have been a regular reader if ur posts which u made in 2015.n this is my first comment on your posts...i'll really agree that ur analysis makes the episodes more special. this was I think one of the finest episode of this serial. eveything frm the set to the actors were perfect... This episode depicted the true colors of Rajat's callibre as an actor.his body language to voice modulation perfectly suited matched the scene...will give a detailed analysis later as now i have still to rewatch the episode. . 😉

UFFF!!!!!

So today we got to see three types of perfection:

1. Shehenshah Jallaludin Mohamad Akbar: Master strategist and wily politician. Knows just when to use his mind and when to use his might. The dialogue of the day for me was:
"Jab Amer hi hamara hai, to Amer ki har ek cheez hamari hai. Phir chahe wo uski shehzadi ho ya uski baandi. Aur hum jise chahein apni harem ki shaan bana sakte hain."

I got chills down my spine when I heard that. The ruthless glint in his eyes . If I were Bharmal or Jodha , I would be very very afraid right now.

Move over people...My Shehenshah is in Da House!!!!

2. Rajat Tokas : What can I say about his performance today ? You have said it all and perfectly I might add. I cannot get over the way he emotes with his eyes. Its almost like no spoken word was necessary in this interaction. Rajat's eyes are definitely a window to Jalal's soul.

3. Shyamala and her brilliant analysis. You have I believe out done yourself with this one. I read your post first and then watched the episode. It helped me pick out all the nuances and expressions that I would have otherwise surely missed. You have now managed to convince me that this whole thing was indeed planned by our clever and Jodha obsessed Shehenshah😉 . I had missed this point earlier but yes the look on Jalal's face when Chugtai Khan brings up "Jodha ks Rishta" was conspiratorial and held no surprise...only unbridled glee😳

Take a bow dearest Shyamala . In our virtual world I give all three of you a standing ovation 👏 👏 👏

coolpree how cool is your writing ...ufff!

what can i say about all three..akbar the great himself, our dearest rajat who has read Akbar's mind in details and then portrayed it so flawlessly with ease esp in this particular episode and i can watch it several times and find something new each time with shyamala's brilliant analysis acting as a red cherry on the cake!..just one word..adbhutt👏

Emperor strikes back.
And
Akka strikes back.
Unsettling Bharmal was the best part - After that everything goes Jalal way.
Superbly directed episode. Director outshines.

Thanks, my dear Sri, for that nifty compliment a la Star Wars.

Director outshines, but outshines whom? Surely not Rajat, In fact it was Rajat who outshone the director and the scriptwriter. If there had been a less gifted actor as Jalal, but with the same script and director, you would have seen the difference!

Shyamala thanks dear...I am really sorry to be so demanding...I understand how much of physical pain you are bearing...

The fact is your posts are the only reason for which I come to IF...and I miss them...Still I understand how difficult for you to type...I am sure you will get well soon..

You can try watching Life OK at 7 pm...Show is good as I have heard its praises..." Gunahoon ka Devata."...I watched last 5 minutes and show really has depth...Try it Shyamala...It has quality...

Akka - I differ - Rajat was superlative - No doubt. But the screenplay and tone was set up by Director, I feel. The first 100 episodes had a real royal touch with deeply set scenes , layered. If Director had not conceived it to be a mental game episode, Rajat would n't have been able to portray what he did.

Of couse he more than rose to the occasion and brought in rare nuances.

This is like the chicken and the egg, Sri! With a less gifted actor, even Santram Verma would have failed to produce this effect. So let us call it 50: 50! But no director outshines!
