For me the most important aspect of this repeat is the respect that everyone has for the Emperor. People all around him are in awe of this man who holds the power of life and death over them, and suitably servile in his presence. Look at how Sharifudiin cowers in Jalal's presence.

This is the real Akbar the emperor, not Akbar Muradabadi, the chaiwallah, he becomes later on with whom even people like Moti are on familiar terms. It is also the main reason, why I am enjoying the repeats so much.

Finally, a note of sadness. Look at the large number of Likes that Shyamala has got. Proof that folks read it and like it. Then why can't they comment. How much effort does it take to type a couple of sentences.

The sad fact is that too many people just let things slip by, they are the silent majority, who have definite opinions but too shy to express it.

COMPLETELY AGREE DONJAS. I TOO HAD MISSED THE EARLY EPISODES AND AM NOW ENJOYING THEM, ARMED WITH SHYAMALA AUNTY'S AMAZING POSTS

WHILE IT IS OK FOR U TO FEEL SAD AT THE FACT THAT MOST READERS LIKE HER POSTS YET DONT COMMENT ON THEM, THERE IS ANOTHER ANGLE THAT WE SHOULD CONSIDER

ALL THE POSTS ARE PERFECT, AND FRIGHTENINGLY SO. WHICH IS WHY, I FEEL THAT A LOT OF READERS AVOID COMMENTS. WHAT CAN A PERSON SAY WHEN HE SEES SOMETHING THAT IS SO WONDROUSLY MERSMERIZING

A LOT OF TIMES WHEN I WRITE A REPLY, I TOO AM FILLED WITH A FEELING OF IT NOT BEING ADEQUATELY VERBOSE ENOUGH TO BEFIT THE MAIN POST. I FEEL IT MIGHT NOT BE WORTH READING FOR ANYONE, LEAVE ASIDE SHYAMALA AUNTY HERSELF 😆

AND, MAY BE. TO JUST COMMENT AND SAY THAT IT WAS GREAT SEEMS A RATHER FUTILE EFFORT.

I UNDERSTAND THAT AN IMMENSE AMOUNT OF EFFORT GOES IN TO BRING OUT EACH POST, SPECIALLY WHEN HER HEALTH IS, AT BEST, FRAGILE. BUT AT THIS POINT I AM JUST TRYING TO GUESS WHY NUMBER OF COMMENTS IS LESSER THAN WHAT THEY SHOULD BE

THIS IS JUST MY POV. NO JUDEGEMENTS OR NO OFFENCE TO ANYONE

I too get the feeling that a lot of people are enjoying the repeats. The first 150 or so episodes are quite unique for their portrayal of a Royal hate-love relationship. I know the hate-love angle has been done numerous times, but not when the principals involved are real people and exalted royalty. And not when the production is of such a high quality. Is it any wonder why this serial is such a big hit in the International market.

As for comments, I agree people are awed by the posts. Somehow they feel they will be embarrassed if they type anything foolish in response to the obvious splendor of Shymala's post. But in my view, they are being overly cautious, everyone has views, there is no right or wrong view. No reason to feel shy and certainly no reason to feel embarrassed.

Speaking for myself, I look forward to the post with as much eagerness as the episode itself.

My dearest Ela,

Thank you so much for such a warm and touching comment. But more important, welcome back to my threads! I was getting worried about your absence. Did you see my response, on Mandy's JA Discussion Corner thread, to your comment about Jalal being a gentleman in that scene with the woman in the street? I agree with you, for he never had any intention of taking her away with him unless she was willing, though the fact remains that the poor creature would have been in bad trouble for no fault of hers.

I would do daily posts, or anything else you wanted me to, Ela, you know that. But my assorted body parts are behaving these days like a guerrilla army, always on the lookout to ambush me. I never know, when I get up in the morning, what will go wrong with me this time. Last Friday, I woke up and found that I could not lift my right arm more than 30 degrees, due to a bad muscle pull in the upper arm. Typing that Revelation! post, keeping the laptop very close to me on the table, was a job, and so the whole thing took much longer than usual. Now it is much better, thank God, but there will be something else this week! My left knee, the one that was not operated upon, is beginning to act up. And so it goes.

So I want to stick to twice a week for now, but I will definitely do single posts for the very good episodes.

Affectionately,

Shyamala

I must say shyamala aunty your episode analysis always grabs my attention... Even if any person has missed the episode if they read this they'll surely get the whole episode's scenes and can imagine it well how it happened. If i talk about myself, i too missed this episode but just by reading your post I could well imagine all the scenes, how all them must have played it, their expressions everything. By seeing mahan one could just imagine her as a simple nun but she is actually not. Thankyou for this! It's great. And talking about your questions? They are purely valid. The CVs, writers, directors mustn't have paid any heed to those, but actually these small things hold a great value in making up the history... Glad to read you amazing posts. I m not able to comment on all your posts since it don't get much time. But I always read them and m happy to read them... Thankyou...

Thank you, my dear Pari (you know I like this better than your name, so please bear with me!).

As for what you have said @blue, that is a very big compliment, and I could not ask for more! But why have you not hit the Like button, my dear? Please do so AT ONCE!

By the way, I looked in all the new chapters of your FF to see if you had written some of your lovely descriptive passages, but there were none, it was all pure Mills and Boon, and I am too old to relish that, I am afraid! Do try and indulge me in your next chapter! It will be good for your writing skills as well.
