It was an exciting, happening episode today! The family dynamics played out very well. Everyone did justice to their respective roles. Dialogues and dialogue delivery was good.

Things I liked:

1)Akbar's reaction when He comes across Sanar hugging at the lakefront. The shock, anger, disgust...all emotions were expressed very well by RT.

2) Akbar's concern for Maanbai was so touching when he asks Jo that did she not think even a little bit about Maanbai when she sided with Salim. This I think sets the stage for the future Akbar-Maanbai relationship. I feel we will see a very affectionate and protective father figure in Akbar for Maanbai.

3) Akbar's dialogue to Salim "kuch alfaaz dil mein rahein to zindagi savaarte hai aur zubaan par aa gayein toh duniya tabah kar dete hain".👏 Or something like that.

4) Jo telling Akbar that Salim is no longer a kid and needs to be explained as an adult and not yelled at. That is so true in real life. Once kids get older it is so important for parents to start treating them as adult otherwise things can go south pretty fast.

5) The character development of Salim has been really the way it should be IMO. The sensitive child who really should have been handled with a little more gentleness than he was, turning into this man with a shaky self confidence, victim mentality and resentment towards his parents especially father. His inferiority complex vis--vis Akbar is also something they have portrayed well. I don't know if the real Salim was this way but I won't be surprised if that was the case. Having Akbar as a father would not have been easy.

I am sure I am missing a few more things but please feel free to fill in and give your opinion.

One thing before I forget is that I wish they chose their body doubles a little more carefully. The lady who was filling in for Jo in the JoJa scene in his Khwabgah seemed to have healthier arms and a different skin tone which was very obvious.😆

If we get episodes of this kind I will not be surprised if JA rules the roost once more!

Fantastic writeup. It made me emotional because it reminded me of the good old days of Skanda and DivyaM when the serial was it's peak.

Rajat once again was the highlight of the episode, the look of anger and frustration and the various shades in between, was a sight to behold. He was his royal self today, and I think it was the first time he ever said takhliya to Jodha. The clash between Jalal and Salim would have been more enticing if portrayal of Salim had been half as good as Jalal, but still it was entertaining.

Jodha is caught in the crossfire and Ruqs is upto her usual scheming self. That is par for the course.

The Laboni track has made me hopeful for the serial. The makers were willing to experiment and show the bad side of Jodha, maybe they have something interesting planned for Jalal too.

I don't know what to say about Rajat...his talent is just beyond words. Honestly I feel that he is one of the best actors not only in India but the world. Just a total natural. He is born to do this.

I wish they would tone down Ruk's portrayal a little and bring in more subtlety. Her smirks are a little too much to handle. She can be totally mean without being totally OTT. Maybe they want to show that she has not really emotionally matured and is still stuck in her own little world with her little schemes about how to bring Jo down.

I think JA is on its way to the top again. This track is turning out to be awesome. Can't wait for tomorrow!

i was waiting for mea track ever since i saw rajat's flawless performance as akbar, coz i knew he would nail it, uff i love the angry roaring lion so much, Rajat is the best akbar ever in the history of indian tv and cinema👏 i can never ever accept another akbar after seeing rajat

if only salim was 25% as good🥱 his acting makes me laugh what happened to casting queen ekta when casting sanar😕

hope this track brings back ja back to top

the epi was perfect hoping for stronger scenes now

Hi Devki, very good write up. Even though I also liked all the points which u mentioned, I am really disappointed with Jo today. Atleast they would've showed her inner turmoil some what clearly instead of showing her only a desperate mother who is afraid of loosing her son if she says no to him. Instead of explaining the ramifications of his decision n all, she is immediately agreeing to him n supporting him. She is trying to convince JA to agree to this marriage . Atleast she has to show the clear picture to SA. How can she compare their love story with SANAR story? When it comes to acting RT steals the show.👏👏👏 Ravi has to try n soften his voice n modulate it accordingly. He is far better now a days when compared to the old episodes. LT also needs to change her expressions. Its too boring to watch her smirks as they r too repetitive. Anyways I watch this track for RT n PS as I know they r going to rock as usual. One more thing which really irked me is Anarkali's reaction on seeing JO JA. she simply stood there. I thought she's going to run away because of her fear for the SH n MEH. Then I remembered its 21st century version of Anar so she won't budge😆😆. we have to w&w as what is stored for us in future as our CVs r great. They can make any thing possible. So lets enjoy as long as the going is good.

@bold2: I kind of liked the fact that she did not run away. That would have somehow cheapened her relationship with Salim. Instead she took shelter behind him. as her protector, her lover. I actually found that part very sweet.

ok the second episode of sanar track quite interesting and i know some people gush gush bout jodha being too soft for salim or ask help from ruq in this matter i want to give my pov in this matter.

1. Jallu pov of salim anar very make sense because no parent let alone from royal family want their kid marry a dancer but the problem is jallu couple time talk bout love to salim how love very important and should fight for love, so salim take that love advice and now he is fighting for his love, its love vs honour , jallu still not learn the lesson that when it comes to salim he put his fatherhood aside and face salim as shahenshah, like jodha said he should try to talk with love because both man are hot blooded man and one must cooling down or it will always clash between them, let wait and see what jallu will do.

2. Jodha pov, she always think from heart and when she heard the word love how can she is not melt down ?, she already suspcious bout salim and anar and now all reveal in front of her, when jodha accept anar salim love or when she seek help from ruq people said she is dumb stupid or no have queen material , but what i see from jodha behaviour is like this , when she accept anar while others reject because she is dancer but for jodha everyone is equal, she never making any differences between people no matter what their status because this is her nature, when jodha ask ruq for help whats wrong with that she know salim very fond to her, as a mother she will do anything to help her son, we all know ruw bad intention but jodha didnt know so why bully her 😆, even jallu who know ruw since childhood didnt know his 1st wife are bad, in this track jodha try to avoid war between father and son, she on course thinking of mann bai she know the consequences if the marriage off but what she said true too if mann bai found out this matter after marry she will totally broken, jodha got a taste how it felt like live in loveless marriage, at the beginning of her marriage to jallu there is no love, jodha very lucky jallu didnt love anyone and fall for jodha, while in salim case he love anar a lot so where mann bai will fit in his heart, jodha really love mann bai and even for her happiness she ready to call off the engagement when she found out salim like got to red area, she told bhagwan das that mann bai didnt deserved man like salim, she didnt want mann bai to suffer but bhagwan das dont problem with salim being go to red area. i will wait how jodha will handle salim and jallu.

3. Salim .. well what can i say, like salim christi said he think with his heart and his heart will rule his life, salim inherit jodha nature not to make differences on people and treat them equally, he fight for his love and he defend what he think is right, his pov of his love are true, love know no boundaries, whats worry me is his feeling towards jallu, he always think his parents didnt love him but he go to know jodha love him a lot and he remember when in his childhood jodha always protect and defend her from jallu anger so now when ruq try to put bad though bout jodha in his head he refuse because in his heart he know jodha love him and will try to help him, but when it came to jallu the only memory he got is how jallu keep punishing him, he said himself jallu act like an enemy towards salim not a father, how i wish sometimes jallu take jodha advice to talk to salim with love, sometimes i want both father and son sit together and talk from heart to heart, jallu need to see and feel the pain in salim heart that he got from childhood bad live, salim is an adult now so he can keep treat salim like a kid . . im looking forward how father and son relationship will become

i dont bout you guys but i had bad feeling bout this track , i hope jodha wont getting hurt this time , my worst skenario jallu and salim will fight and jodha will get hurt in attempt to save one of them 😉

@ bold .. i dont know if ekta herself cast actor actress for salim anarkali or not , hold your breath because sometimes cvs give unexpected twist 😆😆

Well said Devki..yesterday's epi was indeed an excellent one.

Everyone were correct in their place.

Akbar doesn't want to break his promise and Salim doesn't want to sacrifice his love.

Anar's mother fears abt her daughter and its true in her place..Salim is shahzaade and crown prince.Its Anarkali who faces humiliation and threat.Everyone sees her as a rakhasa but very few ppl know the circumstances that made her a rakhasa.I pity her..she is a brave,kind hearted girl with self respect and dignity.

Few are not happy with Jodha supporting Salim.When Salim told her abt his love..she immediately didn't accept his relation.She was angry with him and asked him to think of Man Bai,Bhagwan Das and Akbar's promise but how can she ignore the fact that he doen't love Man Bai?She herself was a victim who got married to a person who doesn't love her.Moreover Salim said he loves Anarkali so much and can't live without her.

If Man Bai comes to know of this..I don't think she would marry Salim.Raja Bhagwan Das and Akbar are kings besides being fathers and hence they are more worried abt their fame and promise rather than the happiness of their children.

What can I say abt RT and PS.They are at their best as always..Rajat's expressions were just mindblowing when he saw Sanar hugging and later while arguing with Salim.Even Ravi Bhatia has improvised his acting skills.

Shocked to see Akbar saying takhliya to his Jodha Begum.

Murad has become a spoilt person completely.

Coming to BD of Pari..yes its very easy to identify..these days they show only backside of Jodha in Jo-Ja scenes.

Enjoying the drama of this MEA track.
