Angry Jalal looks comical to me now despite Rajat's best efforts. Esp after all the muaafi maanging and poodling.

Also this anti Rakkaasa dialogues look funny after ben track. When Jalal was okay with marrying a dancer from Abul Mali's harem why is he so wired up on Salim marrying Anar?

folks, i watched the precap for today and could not control myself in making this post! Rajat Tokas looked and acted every inch at par with Akbar the great of mughal-e-azam and this is the akbar i am craving for and not some obedient puppy or too goody goody sugar coated unrealistic EK's hero!..i want to see a man an emperor who was larger than life and roared like a lion and was indeed king of the jungle!

Rajat's dialogue delivery in the precap was flawless and brilliant👏..after a long time i got to see his talent yet again to the level where i can give a standing ovation! so here is my little poetry and appreciation to his dialogue of the precap..

'anarkali ek rakasa hai wo rakasa jo hamare samne paon main ghungroo daal kar naachti hai..usse hum apne bete ke sar ka taaj nahin banne denge'..wooohooo! way to go rajat!👏👏👏

flawless dialogue delivery with apt pauses and flawless flow of the tone of voice..absolutely brilliant!..

aaj phir se dil ne kuch mehsoos kiya
yun laga jaise koi ghuzra zamana yaad aaya
ye adaakari jisse dekhne ko nazrein taras gayi
aaj inn piyaasi aankhon ko phir se uss bepanah hunar ka deedar hua...

Very nice post Mandy and your title is so apt👏. I am thrilled to see our lion roaring again. Rajat is absolutely mind-blowing in this avatar, actually in all avatars where intense emotions are required to be portrayed - anger, passionate love, caring attitude etc etc.👏👏. We have such a gem in our tellywood. God bless him always. Love you Rajat😳

Its actually a relief to see an angry and firm Jalal. I was missing this since god knows when. I will enjoy this track as our lion has started roaring now

i think he has shown his caliber many times in this show brilliantly but this angry avatar after so long has made me excited but then it all depends on trps, if they begin to fall i am dreading his rotlu avatar again😕

sandhya, here we disagree...i know akbar's character has been killed in the show but here i am appreciating rajat's performance and i am taking this show one day at a time..as we never know when it will change so might as well enjoy as long as this angry avatar lasts!

secondly, ben track was a fiction and completely built to strengthen akbar's trust and love for jodha, here ben was not his love interest it was jodha the royal princess..but this salim anar kissa is partly fiction partly folklore and partly maybe true as akbar did have young concubines and there is a possibility of young salim falling in love with one of them...therefore, this track i can still relate to folklore/history but not ben track!

Excellent post Mandyji. I am a bit skeptical to take his angry avatar as I completely forgot about its existence as we all r watching a joru ka ghulam who really had no duties at all. I am fed up of this nonsense. I wanted to confirm first of the existence this avatar of his first n rejoice in it. so I waited for the actual episode to confirm. After watching the episode am really happy. After so many days his dialogues also made sense. His scenes with his wife n son r really meaningful. I really hope the CVs maintain this standard once again..😭 but we already know that its highly impossible in this EK's version of JA. Coming to RT he is really back with a bang. No OTT shouting, no loud acting. All subtle n classy. People really like him in this avatar not the OTT loud n shouting his lungs out n scrunching his nose n all. Even TRP aunties also like his classy avatar. The CVs also know this. Then why do they make him do all the nonsensical stuff I really don't know. There r certain actors who really have the caliber to connect to sections of audiences with out the OTT stuff. RT is one gem of an actor who can convey all the emotions quite easily n connect to all equally whether class r mass. The initial episodes of JA r proof for that. I really hope the CVs also remember this.

In this soap, MEH is batting for a dancer to be married to her ONLY son who is heir to Mughal throne .

But then what's new in this ? MEH always batted for weaker sections of society. She will be a huge hit if she were to return now and contest elections. 😆

Exactly. The charecterisation of Jodha resembles Tulsi Virani instead of Akbar's queen and the attitude of the actress too. No surprises if the lady aspires to do another Smriti.😆
