As soon as she reached backstage, she heaved a sigh of relief. "Jodha! You were nothing short of angelic. Wow. You rocked it woman", a sweet fellow model complimented her.
"Thanks.", Jodha was relieved and happy hearing that. Though the haunting eyes of his were still fresh in her mind.
"I don't think so our show-stopper will make it to the grant. Given the beauty who just graced the stage", another fellow model joined in, winking at Jodha.
"Yeah I agree.", the earlier one said.
Jodha just kept looking at both of them in amusement. She was definetely excited yet she didn't expect anything much.
"Brace yourselves Ladies and Gentlemen. Here walks our stunning show-stopper. Miss Avani.", the melodious announcement echoed.
The tall and gorgeous lady stylishly walked the ramp and she looked really eye-pleasing.
Halting at the front of the ramp, she smiled wide to the audience and front-seaters, displaying her style and confidence. Jalal smiled back at her when she flown a french-kiss to him.
And as soon as she turned back to walk back, the man mildly chuckled to himself. "Over-excitement has taken over her.", he thought.
A few seconds later, all the models walked the ramp one after another with Avani walking at the last with the famous Fashion Designer.
Avani looked at Jalal with a side-glance to express her happiness but to her dismay, he wasn't looking at her. When she traced her gaze along his, she found that he was looking at the lady who had slapped her not long ago.
An instant angry glare formed on her face but when she noticed a smirk on Jalal's face, she concluded that he was definitely upto something.
"Probably he's planning to take revenge from her on behalf of me.", she happily thought.
"Why is he staring at me like that? His lady is at front right?", Jodha irriatedly thought.
Immediately understanding that Jodha had caught him looking at her, Jalal drifted his gaze instantly. He was not here to embarrass anyone, not even a lady who offended him in some or the other way.
"We hope the esteemed dignitaries liked our show. We request our chief guest to please honour the stage and also bless the lucky woman who impressed you all the most.", the host invited the chief-guest.
Jalal walked over to the stage. "Thanks so much Mr.Khan for honouring us all with your presence.", the charming host thanked Jalal before handing over the mic to him.
He received the mic with a smile on his face and then turned to the audience and other dignitaries.
