'Shit", the lady who just collapsed into the masculine profile immediately backed off but the pointy heel of hers which got tangled with the large fluttery amethyst-coloured ruffle gown made her lose her balance.

She was unable to locate any other source of help before she would fall, so she resolved to the only help available. She clutched the stranger man's left arm tightly and saved herself from the fall. While her eyes remained tightly shut, the motionless man kept looking at the shut eye-lids.

"How dare you. How the bloody dare you slap me. Seriously? You just slapped me bitch.", the lady behind in the room growled loudly while pulling the other lady away from the man.

"Did you see that? Did you hear that sound Jalal? She slapped me.", the pitch of her tone dropped a little as her voice turned a bit teary. Till now she was thinking to seek revenge in her own way, but now that the man known to her arrived, she changed her plan.

"Yeah I did. I am amazed at her guts!!", the till now silent man spoke casually while still looking deep into the eyes of the offender. He was unpleasantly surprised with the daring of the woman.

"I am not going to leave her. I will.. I will..", she rushed to the still lady who was all angry, and was about to slap her tight. But Jalal stopped her at the nick of moment.

"No Avani. If you slap her back, will there be any difference between you and her?", he spoke in a dangerously firm manner, making the accused lady pierce her gaze right through his.

"Let's just move to another room for now. The show is without a doubt more important than this. You get ready and I'll look after the ones who offend you later. Don't worry.", he assured the lady in his gentle grip and moved away from there.

The lady left behind took a deep breath to relax her worked up self. A few minutes on and she found herself in a better condition. "What the hell do they think of themselves", she mentally cursed the duo while giving herself a final touch of perfection.

11:00 pm

"Ladies and Gentlemen. We welcome you to the Grand Vogue Gala. The welcoming Show is about to commence and we truly hope that you like it." The announcement was made and the serene ambience soon turned darker with streaks of blue light making way in beneath the ramp.

The ramp and the edges of the same glowed in the soothing blue light. As if the setting wasn't tranquil enough, a soft music started playing, marking the beginning of the most captivating show.
