"Got saved huh? You doomed witch", Avani recklessly cursed Jodha's fate while banging hard on the steering wheel "But not anymore, you big time messed up with a wrong person. And you are so going to regret it.", her lips curled into an evil smile.

As the slap sound re-echoed in her ears and the visuals of Jodha getting awarded played in front of her eyes, Avani callously accelerated the car, verbally abusing the lady riding in front.

"And here you go.", applying mighty force, she hit her car hard with Jodha's scooty in full speed and the collision was so massively damaging, Jodha didn't realise when she and her scooty slipped and rolled over the road for a long distance.

"May your soul rest in peace", Avani evilly wished aloud, and drove back a little distance to complete the final blow.

Injured hard on her lower back, Jodha crawled on the road semiconsciously, unable to decode even an iota of the mishap that had just ensued.

The deep scratches on her hands, the gash on forehead and serious lower back injury pained but what pained the most to the now motionless lady was the brutal mentality of the person following her. "It is deliberate", she had made out that much, before the cruel collision took place.

Before she could gather herself even a bit, she found herself getting nearly buried in the hard concrete road as the car drove over her abdomen mercilessly.

"Another hit and run case added to the list. Haha. About which no one cares", the successful evil lady laughed and kept looking back at nearly lifeless form of Jodha.

The speed of the car was still quite high but the lady driving it was so immersed in her victory looking back at her unmoving victim that she totally stopped taking notice of what was coming right in her way.

The speedy vehicle crashed right into a nearby tree and Avani's vision immediately blurred with a strong blow on her forehead. Within a next few seconds, she was rendered unconscious.

2:30 am

"I don't think I owe an explanation to anyone...", more than the words of her that resounded in his ears, the movement of her lips played in front of his eyes. He didn't realise when a serene smile made its way on his lips while he kept admiring the guts and confidence of Jodha.

"Thinking too much about her haan Jalal?", an inner soul-voice asked.

"No. Just admiring her confidence and the personality she carries around.", Jalal slyly replied.

"Wow. Love at first sight or something? You seem too much impressed", the voice talked back.

Jalal laughed out loud listening to his own thoughts. "No no", he genuinely clarified. "I am just glad I talked out things with her and didn't misunderstand her.", he said.

"Hmmm, but why does it matter to you?"

"God. You talk a lot", he slapped his forehead punishing it for troubling him "It concerns my friend and hence I went to her to get the correct idea about everything."

"Okay. Just last question, any personal feelings for her?"

"Just shut up. Probably I may not even meet her again. So just stop imagining unnecessary stuff.", Jalal snapped back.

Before the self-conversation could proceed further, Jalal turned his side on the bed and closed his eyes to let the sleep take over him. He didn't want to over think and decided to relax himself.

Just a few minutes had passed by when his cell-phone rang aloud, instantly breaking his partial sleep.

Getting up from the bed and taking hold of his phone, he looked at the name of caller.

"Bhaijaan, where are you?", Bakshi's voice reverberated from other side, as soon as Jalal picked up the phone.

The nervousness in his sister's voice right away alerted him. "What happened Bakshi? Why did you call? Why are you sounding so worried? Aren't you at home?", he moved towards the bedroom door, unlocked it and came out of the room to check over Bakshi's room.

"Bhaijaan.. just listen to me. I had to rush to hospital as an emergency case had just come up.", she fretfully said but before she could continue, Jalal spoke in between "What???"

"But that's fine bhaijaan. I am dealing with it. But the main issue I wanted to talk about is, I found Avani admitted in our hospital", she said worriedly.

Jalal's eyes broadened in shock as the disturbing words sank in.
