CHAPTER 3
Next day early in the morning Jalal, Jodha and Nandhini left for Agra. While their journey, Jodha's mood was little down. Jalal noticed this. He felt little pain as he could not see her in pain and without wasting any time he went to her and enquired.
JALAL:- Whats the matter Rajkumari ???? Why r u so sad ???? Is anything wrong ???? Jodha was little surprised as how he came to know that there is something bothering her and aslo she liked his concern for her. She replied in soft voice.
JODHA:- Shahenshah, I have lied to my parents that I m going to my friends place in Matura. I have not told them the truth otherwise they would have not sent me. Jalal could understand her situation coz of the enemity of Rajputs and Mughals. But somewhere he felt happy that she was coming for him. After sometime they felt tired so they took shelter in a near by villege. While taking rest he asked curiously.
JALAL:- Didn't you feel scared while fighting with the tiger???? Nandhini told me that u r a trained worrior, you are expert in war tactics but still, you were not scared????
JODHA (answered with full pride):- Shahenshah, We r Rajputs. At the age when we don't even know to talk our elders give swords in our hand to play with. We belong to the worrior clan. its our responsibility to protect people from danger and when someone comes to us asking for help we never say "no" to them. He was amazed to see such a strong lady who had the guts to behead him at the same time help him. Now he was fully aware about the Rajput aan, baan and shaan.
On the other hand Hamida Bano was very tensed for her son, he was very stressed from last many days. So today she went to dargha to prey for her family's well being. After reading namaz she went to meet the priest. She said in sad tone.
HAMIDA BANO:- Baba, from last many days my son his very much stressed. Being his mother I m not able to help my son. Baba please show me some way for this.(Baba calmly replied)
BABA:- Don't worry malika-e-azam you will find all solution to all your problem very soon. Someone has entered Jalal's life who will be the reason to all his solutions. She will turned his world into a sweet heven. Her love will have the power to make him the king of all hearts. And she will also be the reason for his happiness. The girl who has entered Jala's life has the power to make the god bent to her will. Hamida could not belive what was she hearing.
HAMIDA BANO:- Are you saying the truth baba????
BABA:-Yes malika but one thing she is not a Mughal. She is a Rajput.( Hamida was more than happy coz she and Shahenshah Humayun were always indepth to Rajput. Its coz of them that today her son his breathing in this world.Just on word came from her mouth " AAMIN SUM AAMIN" and she went home with pleasent smile on her face.
Other side after a long tiring journey they reached Agra next day afternoon. Jalal had already sent a letter to Atgha Shahab to do the necessary arrangements. he had told Atgha Shahab to give Jodha the most beautiful room of the palace (which was next to Jalal's room. Its wall were carved and studded with rubys and emberalds. It had a huge bed situated in the middle of the room it had all facilities including a hamam. No one was allowed in that room) He had also given Jodha 3 female servents and 1 eunch for her help. he instructed in loud voice.
JALAL:- EVRYONE SHOULD TAKECARE OF HER AND HER NEEDS PROPERLY. I SHOULD NOT GET ANY NEWS THAT SHE IS HAVING ANY TROUBLE AS SHE IS MY SPECIAL GUEST. IS THAT CLEAR?????
SERVENTS:- YES SHAHENSHAH!!!!
JALAL:- Good (now turning to Jodha ) Ok rajkumari I will take your leave. In evening I will personaly take you for dinner and with that you can meet my family and closed once.
JODHA:- Sure shahenshah (suddenly a plate came covered with a red cloth. Jodha asked curiously) What is in this Shahenshah????
He removed the cloth and Jodha was dumstruck to see a beautiful red lehenga with green, gold and orange threads.It was an exceptional piece of work and with that there were matching neckles, earings, mata pati, bangles and anklets. Jodha with exciting tone.
JODHA:- How beautiful it is.
JALAL:- Yes rajkumari it is for you. Wear this for dinner.
And Jalal went from there and thought " I can't wait to see you in this dress I am waiting patiently for the evening to arrive" Though Jalal was not sure about his feeling but he was very sure that it is not just an attraction. On the other side Jodha also was feeling the same she was liking his attention from the day she saw him in Amer till now while he was give instruction to the servents as if she was his most precious gem. She knew it was more than liking but was confused. She kept all her thoughts at side and went to take a nap.
