Things are heating up for our serial off the screen more than on screen. This is a news item I read on Internet-

Historical TV show Jodha Akbar starring Rajat Tokas and Paridhi Sharma might soon go off air! Yes that's true the show that has been ruling the TRP charts ever since it was launched is going under the wraps.

The show has now failed to generate good ratings and due to this the makers might pull the plug on the high budget show.

Jodha Akbar initially had good ratings when the love story between the lead characters Jodha and Akbar was the main track. But over time the show lost its charm with introduction of new characters.

Soon as the news broke on internet, fans of Jodha Akbar are going crazy on social networking sites demanding that their favourite show should not go off air. #SaveJodhaAkbar was trending on twitter on Monday.

Makers of the show have tried different tracks to bring the ratings up including the track of famous Salim and Anarkali. But nothing seems to work for the benefits of the show.

Sad but expected Donjas. Those CVs😡😡😡😡 ruined with that useless leap after HH death and the infaumous SANAR story.🤢🤢🤢 Such a pity, coz these serial is the only one who caught my eye when I started watching on Youtube.😭😭😭😭😭 Now I think they would reach the 2nd year and it won't pass from that.

I think the time has come to bid farewell to the show...AkDha/PariJat was the only thing that had still kept me interested...On the story front, the show was dying a slow death everyday...Now I just pray that it ends on a peaceful and logical note

My note:

If that news is true, hope they will end it in proper way, at least with logical last storyline.

And in POV the fans or member of JA IF, they are try in hardly way to "understood" the way of the CV's thinking or POV BUT they (JA fans) is always fail to undertand them. They are tooo much split and inconsistent at anyway...

The God track and Jodha's Dead Track is tolerance limits for JA fans to "understand" the CV's storyline...

For myself, i want the JA will end with MEH Trading track...but i feel this is only my dream...cause regarding Paridhi's contract to EK PH will finish also...

According to updated news that I got from the Internet, it is rumored that the show will end on 26th Jun.

Who would have thought that a day would come when the serial would get axed for low rating. A topper getting fail marks.

In this case too many bad tracks, after the high point at the end of the Benazir saga, and the coup de grace was the leap. It effectively halved the viewing audience.

Ekta's arrogance has doomed this serial.

Paridhi's contract can get renewed, so I don't understand how her contract is related to show going off air. Despite the pathetic CVs it is Rajat & Paridhi who are pulling up the show and we all still watch it for them only. I am pretty certain that this is a rumour. This serial is much more acceptable than more than worse pathetic storyline of drags like SNS and QH. At least in JA, Rajat & Paridhi our adorable leads are doing wonders to the show and every year walk off with important awards.

No I don't think show is going off air. Please guys lets not spread this negativity without any solid ground. Earlier by continuously harping leap, leap leap even when we were getting good tracks we were unable to enjoy the show.

lets not repeat the mistake

I do fans of Paridhi, and till now i can bear the illogical storyline just because i want to see her perform. We dont know also Paridhi herself maybe want to renew or not.

BUT if...again if...they decided to end the serial thats what my last hope...

And my note is not to purpose to spread the negative for JA serial...sorry if my note made you uncomfortable...

I actually think it's about time the show gets closed , so that our brilliantly talented Parijat can get bigger roles n traverse fresh new exciting zones of acting. The leap had been the death of the show. It should've never occurred in the first place. Huge mistake by the CVs. The show was destroyed post leap . Such a waste of huge potential .

This was expected...the show began its downfall post H&H, the screwed up the birth of Salim, showed no bonding between the child with his parents...showed Ruks teaching a minor to do drugs...introducing him to opium... the makers slow poisoned the show to its grave...it is on its last legs...hopefully they let it exit gracefully without anymore screwups

I agree with you...Paridhi deserve a bigger roles and indeed JA is her stepping stone to the broad tellywood or bollywood world. She has a huge potential...

I always said the CV's of JA didn't have a big frame and storyline of JA so they don't know in what point they want to finished. So the result is inconsitent and split story...
