in dance practise i like how jodha being shy when jallu looked at her from head to toe and when jallu ask her for a dance, something very interesting i notice bout jodha, when she was in nafrat mode back then she dont act shy in front of jallu even when she must sleep in one room with him but now since she love him to the core she became shy and blissfull everytime jallu very close to her, i guess what people said that we always feel shy with the person we love is correct hahhaa

and i want to add sth, i saw some comments complain pari and rajat not close enough during dance practise and blame pari being keep distance from rajat since she already marry, i mean seriously ? , in that scene it supposed to be the first time they dance like that so it justify how they act, if they suddenly close and dance like pro isnt it will be very strange, i like how pari rajat portray their akwardness in dance for the first time and how jallu step on jodha feet haha and how both laughting, i hope people just enjoy this sweet scene without always look for a flaw, pari and rajat already play as hubby and wife for more than 2 years if im not wrong so i dont think they have issue with romance scene, both look comfortable and happy when doin romance scene even in hamam scene they are superb

now regarding ravi and salim, i feel his acting improve these lately, but no matter who actor play salim it will have the same result because the problem not from the actor but from salim character itself, its easy to blame the actor while the flaw made by cvs, ravi are just black sheep in this matter, the damage were made the day cvs decide to take leap without backup strong story line.

Jodha Akbar is about love story bout jodha and akbar and so what the point if they become sideline, rather than thinking bout another leap and new actor for salim cvs better built a strong storyline, there is so much events from history that cvs can make an amazing idea for upcoming track.

It was necessary to show this awkwardness as they were doing it for the first time. It did not even come to my mind whether they were close enough or not as I was busy admiring the excellent performance by Rajat & Paridhi in enacting this awkwardness.👏. It was so natural and both were looking so innocent😳

Woah !!! After all the blunders they committed with the leap & illogical storyline with history being dumbed completely , they r searching for a new YOUNG actor 😆

@ Bea n charu : I agree too 😳 It's not the actor , but the cvs who were responsible for damaging all the characters with their stupid sbs script , not keeping in mind they were historical legendary figures 😡

Reg RB , he was much more tolerable these days with his character supporting his parents & most importantly with less screen space 😆 So we can see MEA story , after this witchcraft ... Thank God , they will complete it once forever and we can have sigh of relief 😉

Though , it will not be a long leap if new ACTOR is auditioned for the role of SALIM ... But watever , they have done to the storyline of JA can never be repaired Most importantly , Cv's Jaan begum Ruqaiyya is never let down by them and FANS have grown increasingly tired of seeing her face , after all the heinous deeds of that Dayaan and not once she is PUNISHED 😡

If at all , they really wanted to Ressurect the show from low TRPS .. Then they should rectify their blunders like ..

1) Ruqaiyya & her deeds punishment

2) SA story to be finished soon

3) SEnsible HIstorical storyline with JA on MAIN focus ...not this witchcraft like creepy things 😡

Initially all of us felt that damage control is being done well. I also read some where that the Creative team has been reshuffled too. However it looks like nothing of that that sort has happened. The basic foundation and roots are weak, why blame the branches and leaves? Why hold the actor playing playing Salim responsible for the dwindling plot, script , screenplay and storyline. Even if he is replaced, the new actor will only follow the captain's directions and mouth the dialogues he is provided with.

If changes are made at the basic level, by replacing all writers with ones having adequate experience in writing historicals/mythologicals, there is still hope for Jodha Akbar. There are tons of history related facts that can be shown highlighting the achievements of the khaas ladies of the Imperial Harem, the 'Navratnas', the Shehenshahah's interactions with spiritual leaders of various faiths, so on -------------- . Instead of this, the unbearable acts of two obnoxious, wicked witches, one that is portrayed being downright crass chasing the Emperor to assuage her needs and the mother witch who is an accomplice for her daughter in fulfilling her desire, are being depicted with immense screen time. 😲 Which aspect of history is being covered in this track?

It is BLATANTLY obvious who needs to be replaced --------------------- .

We will eventually see mother and daughter witches' evil craft and nonsense coming to an end, but will Rukaiyya's despicable act of feeding Salim afeem, be ever brought to the Shehenshah's notice, for her to be meted appropriate treatment.? Even if he does become aware of it, he will be giving her the third degree in private in the mildest manner possible. Hoshiyaar is being shown updating Rukaiyya about her true nature. This is the only nice aspect of the side effects of voodoo. Whatever the script writers could not achieve in a direct straightforward manner, they are achieving it by incorporating the witches' powers into the storyline. How pathetic can they get?

Just now posted the 3rd article in the series of posts which i am making for Chittor War. Took lot of time, to get info from different sources and understand it and then post it.!

As we know, this war was not only restricted to the Fort of Chittor, but was a well planned move on the different regions of Mewar as well.

This talks about the war at Kumbhalgarh. Akbar had sent Husain Quli Khan at Kumbhalgarh, but the fort could not be taken. Same for Udaipur also, where Akbar had sent his general to get Rana Udai Singh when he came to know that the Rana has left Chittor Fort.

At Mandalgarh, the battle was fought by one of the best generals of Akbar - Asaf Khan ; and Wazir Khan. This fort was captured by them after Rau Ballu Solanki fell in this war, when the Rajput forces were exhausted. Mewar forces never had numerical advantage as they were generally outnumbered.

Udaipur and Kumbhalgarh remained in Mewar's control only. Mandalgarh and Bijolia were lost to the Mughals. Rampur was also attacked and prisoners/spoils were taken from there.

Though, this may look bad to many of us now, as we are thinking from the perspective of 21st Century, but in those days of warfare, this was a normal practice.! The population of the captured area was normally rallied. This was done after capturing Kashmir too.! Scholars also point that the same strategy was also employed in Chittor area after capturing it, but Akbar was not successful in doing so.

Prisoners were taken captive and spoils of war taken from these areas are mentioned in the records. Also lays emphasis on the strategy followed by Mughal forces and mentions how Akbar encircled the fort from all sides. How more and more troops kept joining him from time to time. How his officers placed canons at different locations for sudden attacks on the fort in order to surprise to his enemy. He waited for a long time, before launching this attack.

The strategy on both sides was that of wait and watch..Overall a good read. The language is cumbersome, though i tried to narrate the events at each point.!
