As Radhika said, the initial English missions in India were not seriously into trade.
They were NOT eyeing us. They were adventurers. :)

Don't want to go in details of history. So, just giving a short BG only. I have written about the English Fleet and the Spanish Armada. And also about the charter of Queen Elizabeth - I.

That is what we know...And we would have appreciated such a setting.! If the makers show all this, then i will give a brief post about their entry into India through the Mughal court. They have given enough farmans to the European merchants.

But in our show, we are not going to see anything of this kind. I am disappointed with the makers because what they are showing is not correct. They should have shown the coming of Portuguese first. But, again agreed with Radhika, perhaps, for the makers all Europeans are Englishmen only. Hence, they missed with Portuguese.

BTW, I have another thought in mind. Akbar had sent a letter to Portuguese in Goa in September 1579, and this is the SAME MONTH when he issued the document of Mazhar which was mentioned in the Shah-i-Iran update.

Do you think, there is some connection, which the makers might be thinking here ? Or, am i thinking too much, because till now the makers have always proved us wrong. :-P

wow Abhayda just read the post in the sticky,it seems portugese and britishers loved to explore the sea,I guess dutch were also in the league.Did'nt the mughals try any such exploration, using the sea?But how can cvs think all europeans are englishman only, surely they have seen the map of europe, are they that much clueless😕Fir to show ko bhagwan hi bachaye. And the connection u mentioned may be shown, but portugeses will be replaced with britishers ofcourse. And the problem is that the cvs only touch the bases of historical tracks , never go into the depth. They think only drama can bring trp but here all JA audience are fed up with the drama and wants to see some achievements of Akbar , and muz badly

Dutch were present but were more concerned about the trade in Indonesia. People from Indonesia on this forum might be knowing well about that. In India, they were at odds with British.

Mughals did not venture much into the seas and that was the reason, Portuguese used their monopoly on the high seas and even captured some ships.

You are right about the CV's, they bring anything from anywhere. Lets us see what they give us next. One thing i can sense, they will elongate this track, more.

bt I hav a doubt abhay y vish kanya is needed 2 kill or harm jodha...?I agree in case of jalal it wasn't easy 2 kill him so vishkanya ws needed 2 seduce him and kill him bt y vish kanya for jodha I mean no need of seducing her I believe... 😕 😆 I mean dnt gt me wrng actuly m nt gting d logic behind it... if jodha hs 2 b killed or harmed othr altrnatives are prsnt...no need of vish kanya...
