..."can we talk?" he demanded..."Hmmm...ok" she barely whispered ...her voice sounding nervous..."what do you want to know?" Jalal continued to stare at her, "did I hurt you that night?" he demands his gaze making her more uncomfortable..."I know what you want to know Jalal" she whispers looking away from him... "yes you hurt me, hurt me more than you would ever know...it was too painful." Jo closes her eyes recalling that fateful night etched in her memory, Jalal rolls his eyes and says harshly in an angry tone "listen I am not an idiot ...I know what happens when a virgin has sex" Jo flinches hearing his uncaring harsh voice...gets irritated ...she should be the one angry and upset, not him and quickly snaps back ..."fine Jalal, you really want to know what happened to me...it was the most painful day of my life...what should have been an amazing experience that every girl dreams of, turned out to be my worst nightmare...considering nine months later I squeezed out your child...I hated you for it...but my child changed everything...that is why I am even talking to you right now" she spews out vengeance all in one go...looks up at him, he had a horrified look on his face ..."OMG, that is ridiculous...OMG... OMG..." he kept repeating, he was practically screaming... "Jalal calm down" she whispered as tears streamed down her cheeks ...he was in tears too...His hands reached for hers and holding on to the, whispers somberly "I'm sorry Jo, I never meant for it to happen that way, you had a baby?" she nods looking up at him " Jalal, there is someone I want you to meet...I want you to meet our son" Jalal looks into her eyes and sees a pair of nervous anxious eyes looking back at him...he did not want to look at the little boy..."why should I meet him?" he gasped angrily..."how old is he?" "He'll be two in august ..." She whispered ...Jalal begins doing mental math...his brain was not working...he tried many times and finally used his fingers ...January, feb, march...july, hit august as his mind reached the ninth digit...he repeated it over and over again... "he is your child Jalal" Jo's calm voice broke through his thoughts of denial..."NO,...No...he is not, he cannot be...damn it...it cannot be" he roared loudly...
