Chapter one- Getting a glimpse of you

It was the usual bright sunny morning...the rains had just ended...and in had come a bright starting.

Mainavati:Jodha beta...Jodha...JODHA!...uth jao sweetheart...did u forget...ajj pehla din hai college ka...common...monsoon breaks are over now..abhi utho...and look...we have new neighbours., we need to greet them too na!...ive heard that their son too will accompany you to college..common...jodha beta uth jao na!

Jodha:mmhmhmmh...mom...just two more pretty minutes...2 minutes baad pakka...I promise I wont be late to college.

Mainavati:har roj ka dialogue...and then in the end...u end up skipping breakfast...common now...no more ...uthna hai toh bas uthna hai...

Jodha:fine mom...but yeh toh apko maanna padega...ive not broken my record of not getting late to college...

Mainavati(laughing): ha ha jaanti hu...now go...get fresh ...ill too get ready for work...

Jodha:wait mom(looking at the clock) abhi toh only 6:30 baje hai...I usually get up at 7:30...aaj itna jaldi kyu?(pouting)

Mainavati: beta...we have new neighbours...they shifted here last night only...u were sleeping..so u couldnt meet them...they said that theyll meet u in the morning...and their son will accompany you to college today...

Jodha: k mom...ill be ready soon...

30 minutes later,

Mainavati: Jodha!...come down sweetheart...look our neighbours are here..come here and wish them a good morning here!

Jodha pov,

Woah...the sound of new neighbours brought some unknown feeling to my heart...I donno...I feel as if something new is gonna start in my life...anyways...I am excited too...
As I reached the living room...I...wait...woooaaahhh...
My throat hitched...as his eyes gazed over mine...he passed me this flirtatious smile and I at once knew he was a player...
He spoke," Hey!...m Jalal...Jalal..the name u would be craving to hear along with yours in a few days"

How arrogant!...what does he think of himself!...I admit he is handsome and all ha...his chiselled looks qnd his hair falling just in the perfect places on his forehead...fine mr jalal...ill show you, that I am not going to so easily fall for your traps..

"Hey!..m Jodha!...Jodha...the name u will ponder over of how its owner didnt fall for your charms"
Ha...nice one jo!...u backfired with one better shot...ha!

His smirked dropped for a minute...but he regained it again...n proceeded.."We'll see that soon Jo..."
And before he could finish..."Jodha beta..Jalal!...chalo now get ready!...clg starts in an hour!..jalal..it was nice to mmet u son...u seem to be a very chivalrous boy out here.."
"Thank u miss Sharma...I graciously accept this praise..u look beautiful according to ur age.."

Seriously?...flirting with my mom too?..oye!...and chivalrous my foot...how I wish she could see him flirting with me a few minutes ago...

"So Jodha...I'll take ur leave...and dont forget ..we are going to clg together..", he said with a wink and wiggling his eyebrows..
