AN IDEAL MAN
Chapter 1
Last night she had found a dog in the woodpile, nearly starving, she immediately returns to her kitchen, taking a look of what she had that would benefit the dog...
Well, A starving dog would eat anything, she decided
She had taken a piece of bread, actually the last one and torn it to piece and placed them in a waste tin (bowl) and poured some milk on top of it...
Taking the bread out for dog... It was both gratifying and heartbreaking when the dog near gobbled up at once...
Dog seemed to be tamed, with shiny skin, white paws and wearing shiny elegant gloves. Dog had left promising that she would return In morning
In morning, the dog was waiting with her two puppies...
Jodha looked down at the small bowl of leftover food, before putting it to ground. It wouldn't be enough ...she thought
And now that man was watching her was watching her again, ever since she had moved to this house, this man would often give her a stare, it wasn't actually a stare but look a indeed..
If he was old enough, then it wasn't the matter to be considered, he is young, actually same as her age and very attractive in all sense. Unlike surya, he has brown copper coloured silky hair and green eyed. Snapping out with... Why does she always compare men with surya..
However, Jodha was capable enough to bring her attention back to dog and its puppies. they might be near wood pile she thought... making her way to the woodpile with the bowl of food in her hand.
"Nice dogs" he said
She wasn't able to believe her ears..., was he calling her., she turned to look at them... and their he was standing.. with his arm crossed and watching whole scene..
"They're not my dogs" she answered back..
"oh, then I guess they probably belonged to previous owner" he said
Why, the damn he should care about the dog ? she thought and decided to ignore him... watching the food being completed by the dog , "I will get some more food for you and your puppies.." she said looking towards the mother dog and she turned to leave..but stopped when the man again called her
" I think you should make a dog house for them, it will surely help them out. Or else in the upcoming rainy they will surely give trouble"
" I am sure, I will manage somehow at that point of time, hopefully.., anyways thank you " she answered...and started her ways towards the kitchen
" Do you know, how many puppies will a dog have in its life time" he asked
She resisted the urge to answer him and thought to ignore him..
Mean while , he made his way towards her, crossing the drive way
" They will have 7 puppies , and they live about fifteen age" he said
" Are you a dog nurse?" she asked in confusion
"No" he said with a smile on his face., "I am software develpor, and I spend a huge time on internet", now his smile became even wider..
" surfing about dogs?" she said.. she could not help grinning to herself
Now he was standing in front of her with a smile, he was nicer to look at ., dressed in a checked shirt and half pant., she noticed he was bare footed, " very brave of him to cross over the drive way barefooted" , she thought
He nodded his head
"I am Jallal , by the way" he said..
"I am Jodha, I often see you at your desk, dumb" she said , but he didn't seem to mind it..
He nodded... with a smile
" coffee or tea" she added
"no, actually I don't like that beverages" he said
" me too, I will get some, looking at the wrap, but it won't find interest after" she said... " oh, well I am getting late., I need to take a look at other things" she added..
" I will let you go" he said... "nice meeting you"...
"same here" she said with a smile ...
Both made their way out..., now , it doesn't seem strange anymore...
