CHAPTER 8.1

Few days later the marriage announcement is made.Jodha brothers are left from impersionment they reach the palace the marriage pepreations are on. At the other end Jalal has send a message to the palace that he wants all his family that is his Ammi Jaan Mariam Makhani Malika-E-Azam Hamida Banno Begum, his Phuphi Jaan Gulbadan Begum both his Khas begums Begum-E-Khas Shahzadi Ruqaiya Sultan Begum & Khas Begum Shahazadi Salima Sultan Begum, his sister Bakshi Banno Begum, his brother Shahazade Mirza Hakim,his Khan Baba's son Rahim Khan-e-Khan, his Badi Ammi Jaan Wazir-E-Aliya Maha Anga & other important people in the court. When the letter was being read Ruqaiya was not there but she refused saying she has stay back to take care of the harem & also Hamida was returning any time so someone had to be there to welcome her.They all reached there. Jalal was disappointed to see his mother Hamida & his first wife & childhood friend Ruqaiya were not there but all others were there. They had got gifts for the new bride, so Jalal told them to go the their palace but stopped Maham from going there & said stop Badi Ammi I am meeting you after a long time spend some time with me. Rahim was standing holding Salima hand he said can I also go there. Jalal smiled went to him hugging him says) yes you can my son. she is not only going my begum & my wife but also you Ammi jaan (Rahim says) Ammi Jaan said she is my Choti Ammi Jaan (Jalal smiling @ Salima says) yes son she is your Choti Ammi Jaan (They all went there & saw Jodha and she was very beautiful. Rahim hugs her & says) Choti Ammi Jaan (Salima begum came there & asks) Adaab! are you Rajkumari Jodha. (Jodha says) Pranam! Yes, who are you, are you related to Shahansha, I just met his sister & buasa (Salima says) I know you met Phuphi Jaan & Bakshi (with a little attitude) I am Sahazade Salima Sultan Begum , I am one of his Khas Begum, you can call me Salima Begum, he my son Rahim, before I married Shahansha I was married to Bariam Khan, Shahansha called him Khan Baba (Jodha looking @ Rahim) Will you come with me (Rahim asks) can I go Ammi Jaan with Choti Ammi Jaan (Salima answers) yes (Jodha took him. Giving him a latter asked him to hid it take with him & asks) Do you know Abdul (Rahim replies) yes so give it Abdul (It was a latter for Jalal which was given to Abdul & confused Rahim. Abdul came in Maha Anga tent where Jalal was sitting & says) there is a mail for you Jalal (Jalal says) Show me (Maham says) you go Abdul I will read for Jalal (Jalal stopping him says) I know who has send this mail (Looking @ Maham) So I would like you to take rest Badi Ammi (Jalal went to his tent. Abdul asks) how do you know it's from Jodha Begum (Jalal replies) Her name written on it. (Abdul superised asks) You know how to read Avdhi (Jalal replies) No I only know how to write my and her name in Avdhi & Urdu, read the mail Abdul fast.

(Maha Anga not likes says) but...( Jalal cuts in)I accept all your conditions Rajkumari Jodha. (Maha Anga is shocked. The marriage happens with all customs of Hindus and Muslims.

CHAPTER 8.2

(They met each other hiding from others.Jodha asks) Jalal, Ammi Jaan nahi aaiyege. (Jalal informs) Jodha Ammi jaan kaam se bhar thi. (Jodha asks) Jalal, Ruqaiyaji nahi aayie (Jalal informs) Jodha, Ruqaiya ko ruk na par hoga kyouki Ammi Jaan kabhi bhi loot sakti hai, toh aap humse yehi pocha chahate thi. (Jodha says) ha (Jalal complaining says) hum aapse Milne keliye, baat karne ko aapko aapne bhahon ko bechaan hai aur aapko Ammi Jaan aur Ruqaiya ki paiye hai. (Jodha hugs him & says) Jalal hum aapse bhute prem karte hai aur hum kaval jaan chahate yeh kyounki... ( Jalal cuts in) hum jaante hai Jodha bas aab kuch nahi boliye. (Jodha a little scared asks) Jalal voh... aapki ba..Badi...Amm..Ammi bhi nahi aayie. ( Jalal says) aap unhe itana daar de hai bachpan se toh bhi srif humare kush ki liye aap chahate hai voh yahain ho. (Jodha says) hum kaval yeh chahate hai ki aapke sab aapne iss vivahaa mein ho hum samjhte jab aapni prasanta mein aapne saath nahi hote. (Jalal says) Jodha hum vaada karte sab dikh hojaega. (Jodha says) Jalal aapko samran hai varsho pehel aapne humse vivahaa kiya tha tab hum nahi karna chahate the kyounki..."

Flashback Starts

(Jodha says) hum aapse vivahaa nahi kar sakte. (Jalal asks) kyoun" (Jodha says) hum Rajput hai aur aap Mughal (Jalal says) hum aapse behintihaa Mohabbat karte hai. (Jodha says) hum bhi aap se bhute prem karte hai , parintu. (Jalal asks) magar kya? Hum aapse mohabbat karte hai aur aap humse. (Khan Baba was in total support as he knew there will never be any body better then Jodha to rule beside him as Malika- E- Hindustan Mariam-u-Zamani. Khan Baba asks) aap kya chahate hai shahazadi srif mahzab ke vihjya se aap dono ki Mohabbat galat hai aur aap nikkha nahi kar sakte hai. (Jalal says) hum aapna mahzab badlands ki liye teiyaar hai. (Khan Baba thinks can there be a middle path. Jodha says) Jalal uss ke koi aavishakta nahi hai. (Khan Baba says) koi bech ka rasta ho jaroor. (Jodha says) aap shahi hai Kakasa. (Jalal says) nahi hai srif yehi hai ki hum aap mahzab badle. (Jodha says) Kakasa hum soch rehe the ki agar aasie ho sakta hai ki nahi hi inhe nahi hume aapna dharam badlana ne aavishakta par rehe. (Khan Baba says) kyoun nahi. (Jalal happily says) aasa nahi hai aap humse Mohabbat nahi Kate ya humse nikkha nahi kana chahate hai toh baat srif mahzab ki toh dekh hai hum aapse vaada karte hai ki aap hamasha hi Hindu rehegi aur aapko koi jo aapna mahzab badle ko majboor nahi kar sakta hai.

Flashback Ends.

They both spend time together then leave from there. Few days later there come another letter for Rajkumari Jodha and saying I want to meet with Shahansha and talk to him. They all go there they are welcomed there. Jalal was given the middle seat to sit with him Rahim & Salima sat with him next Bakshi & Gulbadan Begum sat on one side and on the other Mirza and Abdul sat and so did Adhka Sahaab sat . A little while later an announcement was made attention Rajkumari Jodha is coming'. Maha Anga didn't like the importance to the Hindu princess and not to the Jalal. There was was a parda between them which was transparent. Jalal knew new he couldn't go close to her but at least see her but his bad luck there stood all her brother in the front behind who all woman sat. Jodha says) I will like to keep forth some conditions before we form this marriage alliance:

1. I will not forced change my religion by any one.

2. I will be given all rights and authorities a queen gets I will have same rights as special Mughal Queens gets.

2. I will given a Krishna Temple so I can continue my payer there.

(If these two conditions only fulfilled then the marriage will happen.Maha Anga objectingly says) these conditions can't be fulfilled they go against our religion. Raja Bharmal sends his grandson and Yuvraj Bhagwantdas's son, Rajkumar Maan Singh with Jodha to Agra for her protection.
