It is actually true. Akbar was not "in love" with any of his begums. He was not a romantic man unlike his son Jahangir and grandson Shah Jahan. He held great respect for his Hindu wife but not actually in love with her like in the serial and the movie. He was more interested in politics and conquests.

Coming at the logical point that both Ashutosh m Ekta were wrong because jodha was not wife of AKBAR but wife of SALIM HARKA BAI was the wife of Akbar ...
N the topic of Ruqiya dear shaurya please first read history properly I have read the history of Mughal emperors n hardly get Ruqiya's name o only get the name of HARKA bai n salima begum Ruqiya very often if he love her so much so she would be printed everywhere
Agree to Susan bechara screen space ka gussa nikal Raha hai jo ki use SALIM aur Anarkali pe nikalna chaiye
Secondly Ashutosh dosent spoil the film but Ekta spoil her dream project

I want to repeat same here as I said in my post
Though I dont want to be in debate of Jodha(Harka-Akbar) history, but truely, investing in money in making movie or drama on some imaginary love story( that too if that can b related to royals) is not a new thing.
Remember, Mughal-e-ajam, the most expensive movie of time, that too without any historical facts, base was just a line from some foreigner in some book(cud b a result of miscommunication because of language,
Again if one typo can result in changed name of Jodh-bai from Harka bhai, and then its carried on first by movie then by Ekta, probably if you ask people in India, who was jodha bai,pat reply will be Akbar's wife😲, What I mean is, showing so much NRs in historical show, without proven facts are get tied to history, that's how the epics get mutated. Anecdotes then start ruling more than history.
And here we talking about just a four centuries old history,it's not Mahabharat,Ramayan where anecdotes can be ignored,we are talking about latest history. Our motto as Indians should be to preserve it and take it forward in its purify form, not to adulterate it.

This is my view
So what is JA did or did not love each other?
So what if anrakali did not exist? or there was never an SA? But anarkali defienetly managed to survive as legend for more than 400 years
So take this as a serial story forget what happened or did not like other non historical serials
This serial is not an documentary etc on JA or SA
Biggest issue is this
In akbarnama its not mentioned about any wife whether Akbar loved or not? We can only guess based on some buildings, palaces or relations in future
Akbar was very close to amer and marwar royal family that is truth because he and salim and future gen married in these two royal family's. This is clear. Whether they loved those wives or was it political we do not know and do not bother.
This serial is an imaginary story of CVs with a few historical facts thrown in not true history

evenAshutosh gowariker also spend so much time and money on this story and make movie.

if this all not true so they make serial on Rukiaya and Akbar.becauseshaurya said that akbar loveRukiaya not jodha.sowhy they make serial on jodha and akbar?

in starting of serial they arguing so much about this with people. that this is true. and now they told this that jodha and jalal story is fake.

He said that her real name was harka, not jodha, and the love fact is clearly seen that many responsibilities and power is given to harka and some to salima.he respect rukaiya only because she is her first cousin and the member of her family. Akbar gives much important to birth. That's why first rukaiya, tgen salima and them muz

I went through his tweets and it appeared as if he was having some fun, but at the cost of Real Characters.! 🥱

Just take these two tweets and please explain me what was he trying to do there.. I am not copying all tweets but these two tweets which started the drama..>>

#1..
Legend of Ruqaiya Sultan begum: The longest serving Mughal empress with a tenure of over 49 years, Akbar's first wife & only Love of Akbar

#2..
History: Akbar had a fling with Anarkali (leaving love of life MUZ) and Salim too was attracted to Anarkali...Thats why the Akbar-Salim war

In tweet number 1, he says Ruqaiya was THE ONLY Love of Akbar.
BUT, In tweet number 2, he says, Akbar LEFT "THE LOVE OF HIS LIFE MUZ" for Anarkali.

^^^^
Please tell me what was he trying to do other than riling up all the fans. ???

In first one Ruqaiya is the ONLY LOVE of Akbar, in second MUZ becomes the LOVE of HIS LIFE... :-P

I am not going into the details of whom he loved or not , but only saying that > These two tweets are contradictory. :-P
