The episode starts with Jodha telling abt Salim liking Maan bai n announcing their relation. But Rukaiyya didnt tell abt Salim being in love with Anarkali. She said to herself that now there will be a nice fight.
In tge court Salim ask back for his heir' position. All become happy. Akbar hugs him and gave him heir's throne n sword and also stamp and told him to use it for people's gud. Rukaiya thinks that now she will make him write her statements.
Salim apoints Kadir as soldier n says to all soldier. Haider said that there will soon be a war between Akbar and Salim n he will be on both side to create rift and poison them.
Akbar came to Jodha who was praying. Both were happy to see Salim taking responsibilities of a heir. Jodha praises Akbar for his intelligence for using a strategy to make salim heir. But Akbar refused and said it was Birbal's plan. Jodha still gave Akbar credit for appointing Birbal.

Jodha says now she also wants a daughter in law so that she coukd also rule. Akbar says if its not enough that u rule me? He further teases her.
otherside Anarkali is coming to Agra in rain, Qutub says to Salim that you are missing Anarkali? Salim says we miss people who we love but I hate her so much, I want to remove every memory of hers forever. otherside Anarkali recalls her moments with Salim, they both recall their meetings, song ishq ki hai yeh dastan. Anarkali says that God make me meet Qutub so that I can ask him that why he didn't meet me, why he didn't fulfill his promise.
