CHAPTER- 5 ( Part-1)

Sun rises and very soon the whole Agra is engulfed soon with the sun's light. In the palace in one of the chambers two beautiful love birds were sleeping cuddled in each other. The way they held each other could clearly depict how possessive they were about each other. These two love birds were none other than Jodha and Jalal, for them heaven lay in each other's arms. Sun rays fell on Jodha's face through the open window which disturbed her sleep so she simply cuddled further into Jalal's chest, tickling Jalal. Jalal gets up and enjoys seeing his angel cuddling further and further until there is no gap left between them, she cuddled as if a small child cuddle1d within his mother while sleeping. Jalal simply closed his eyes in peace correction immense peace. He could feel her heart beat and it seemed to him that his heart automatically joined the rhythm and soon this rhythm felt like melody to his ears, his soul and heart were the happiest as they loved being close to Jodha. Jalal loved the childish way she slept, the cute, yet beautiful face of her's looked so heavenly while she is sleeping. After a while he opens his eyes and simply slipped his hand on Jodha bare waist and pulled her closer, even though there is no more space left to bring them closer. They both were so close that they both felt that they were inhaling each other's breath. By now Jodha had also got up when Jalal slipped his hands on her bare waist, she felt an electric shock through her body, the blood in her veins raised. She simply opened her eyes and Jalal gets shocked as he thought all this while Jodha had been sleeping. Jalal says staring continuously in Jodha's eyes- Ap uth gaye.{ You got up} Jodha says with a notorious expression- Hum toh tabhi uth gaye the jab apko sharate suj rahi thi.{ I had gotten up when you were behaving naughtily} Jalal blushes and says- Voh ... hum.. toh . He tries to justify his act but Jodha shoos him as she simply crushes her lips into his. They both were simply lost in their passionate and sensual kiss. While the morning atmosphere acted as the best background ever. The chirping of the birds the early morning rays and everything else added to the perfect, yet sensual atmosphere. They kissed until they were short of breath. Jalal smiles, staring in Jodha's beautiful brown orbs, so, does Jodha smile staring right at Jalal's black orbs, each could see each other's orbs immersed in the ocean of love correction pure love. Jalal says naughtily- Aj ka din toh kuch jayada hi acha jayega humar. Kyunki din ki hi itne achi shuruat hoi hai. Toh age na jane kya hoga?{ Jalal says- Today's day will be to good for me. As already the start is so good. Then what will happen further?} Jodha blushed hearing this and for hiding her blush she tries her level to best to get up, but to no avail as Jalal's firm hand on her bare waist prevented her to get up. She says- Shehanshah, chodye na, hume jana hai.{ She says- Shehanshah, leave na, I have to go} Jalal says- Kahan jayenge ap Jodha Begum hume chod kar, humare bechare dil ka toh sochiye, ap itni kathor dil kaise ho sakti hai, humare bechra dil toh je hi nahi paega apke bina.{Jalal says- Where will you go Jodha Begum leaving me, think about my poor heart, how can you be so stone hearted. My poor heart cannot live without you.} Jodha says with cute angry face- Bas bahut hua Shehanshah, hume bahut sare kam karne hai, kirpiye karke chodye.{ Jodha says- Enough Shehanshah, I have lot of work to do. Please leave me.} Jalal says with a puppy face- Apko kam toh bahut honge par apka sabse bada kam toh apne pati ko khush karna hai na. Toh voh kro .{ Jalal says- You may have may works, but your biggest work is to please your husband na. So do it.} Jodha knew there is no escape from Jalal so she says- Theek hai... Jaise humari pati parmeshwar ki marji.{ Jodha says- Ok as my husband wishes.} Jodha is up to something which Jalal had no clue. Jodha has got a clear view of the door of the room whereas Jalal has not got. Jalal says- yeh hoi na achi biwi wale bat{ Jalal says- This is the way a good wife should behave} Jodha says to herself- Acha abhi maza chakate hain. { Jodha says- Ok now I will teach you a lesson.} Jalal comes further to kiss Jodha, Jodha says- Shehanshah.. Jalal says- Apko dekhti nahi Jodha Begum hum kisi kam mai marshroof hai. Hume tang mat kijiye { Jalal says- Don't you see Jodha Begum, that I am busy. Stop troubling me.) Jodha says- Shehanshah Ammijan. Jalal says- Kya Ammijan ? Jodha says- Ammijan darwaje ke pas khadi hai.{ Jodha says- Ammijan is standing neart the door} Jalal says- Kya... and gets up with a jolt and sees near the door and finds no one and Jodha breaks in a fit of laughter and says- Dehkha ap dar gaye. Ap Ammijanse darte hain. { Jodha says- See you got frightened. You are afraid of Ammijan}. Jalal says- hum nahi darte. Hum toh apni biwi ke sath hai kisi aur ke sath toh nahi hai na.{ Jalal says- I am not afraid. I am with my wife, not with anyone else} Jodha says- Apka dart oh dekha hi liya maine Shehanshah, hum chalte hain. After saying this she leaves to get ready for the day and leaves a day dreaming Jalal.

As Jodha leaves the hamam to her surprise she finds Rukaiya in her room she does her- Pranam. Rukaiya says- hume apse kuch bat karni thi. Jodha says- Ji boliye. Agar koi jarori kam tha toh ap hume he bula deti. Rukaiya says- Aise koi bat nahi the. Hum khud akar apse bat kanrna chacte hain. Jodha can sense the coldness in her voice, but she has no clue why is so cold, she wants to know the reason for the reason of her cold attitude, but decided to be quiet. Rukaiya continues her melodrama with a harsh tone- Tum janti ho ki salim tum se aur Jalal se itni nafrat kyon karta hai? Jodha gets shocks by such indecency of words used by Rukaiya, but Rukaiya made it sure that she will not even give a single chance to Jodha to speak until she finishes, so continues speaking- Humare karan Salim tum dono se nafrat karta. Hume salim chaiye tha Hussain ke badal aur voh humne kiya. Janam toh tumne diya hai Jodha par bte voh humara hai. Nafrat sirf nafrat karta hai voh tumse. Aur janti ho is nafrat ki beech(seed) kisi boie( sow) thi uske dil mai ? humne. Uska lagta hai ki uske Abu us se pyar he nahi karte , jab ki uske abu jan dene keliye tyar hai, aur Ammi ka toh puchu hi mat, jisi ma ka -bte use ma na bole toh ma bank eke kya fayada Jodha. Jis din humne salim ko pehli bar apni gaud me liya tha usi din humne ne kasam kahaiye thi ki agar Salim dosra Shehanshah hai toh hum dosri mahamanga . Magar unse behetr. Jodha thinks it is enough of this sh*t she is speaking , She is hurt not because Rukaiya has troubled her, or always hated her, but because she understands the depth of hatred sowed in her son's heart towards her and Jalal. She is not feeling for herself as much as she is feeling for Jalal. At, last she controls the inner turmoil inside her, even though she doubts that she will burst anytime, she speaks- Hume apki chunoti swikar hai. Apne bahut kehl liye humare, Shehanshah aur salim ke jasbaton . Har ek cheej jo manshuaiya karta hai uski ek sima hoti hai, aur agar voh sima langdi jati hai, toh samane wala jo kafi samay se chup hai bardhas nahi kar pata. Hume apko dikhaenge ki prem hare k cheej, jasbat, manshuaiya par raj karti hai. Kyunki prem se aur kuch bji pak, nahi hoti hai. Aur voh hum sabit karke rahenge. Jodha leaves the room in haste, this seen by Salim who had been proceeding towards Jodha's chambers for advice on some matter. He sees' tears glistening in her eyes. Salim stands there confused, unknown to revelations that has happened today. After few minutes he sees' Rukaiya leaving the room, with an victorious smile correction grin and her eyes reflecting pride, such pride which could pierce anyone's in front of her. Salim has never seen her as such. Jodha badly needs some peace of mind; she knew her room is no going to haunt her with the flashback of today. She finds no place for sitting and thinking. She desires to go to Jalal as when he is with her all worries flee, but right know he is in DWK, busy. She is left all alone with this disturbing inner turmoil of her's. At last at the far end of Angori Bagh were anyone barely comes, Jodha sits on the grass, under the tree, supporting her back, her legs were touching her upper body, and she has encircled her hands around her legs, and she has rested her chin on her knees, tears come out from her eyes. She feels like a fool for not knowing anything, in spite the fact that all the things were happening right in front of her eyes. The wounds which had never been healed, the pain which had been difficultly pushed in the depths of her heart, seem to come to the surface. The loss of their twins seems fresh again. She and Jalal only know how they survived that phase of their life. Jalal who had finished his work earlier in hope of spending time Jodha, but his every trial for finding her went in vain, at last he spots her , but he feel a bit worried seeing her state. She is sitting on the grass which is not common in the palace. He goes and gently touches Jodha's shoulder; this gentle touch scares the hell out of her. She quickly wipes her tears and turns to see who touched her shoulders and somewhere seeing Jalal deep down somewhat calmed her inner turmoil. She says- Shehanshah. Jalal sits down to which Jodha says- Ap Shehanshah hain apko yun baithna shobha nahi deta. Jalal gives an instant reply- Jaise MUZ ko dete hai. Jodha knew she can never win an argument with him. Jalal could catch from her tone that she is a bit low and her eyes look a bit puffed. He puts his one arm around Jodha; in the depths of her heart Jodha thanked Jalal, because his touch acted like remedy to her wounds. Jodha gently rests her head on Jalal's shoulder and releasing her hands encircling her legs and puts her one arm entangled in Jalal's arm. Know Jalal is sent per cent sure that she is not in a good mood. Jalal asks directly- Kya hua Jodha Begum? Jodha knew that he will question her, so she isn't surprised; because she knows that Jalal can him easily read her face. Jodha - Kuch bhi nahi hua Shehanshah. Bas yun man kiya is liye yahan akar baith gaye, hum udas nahi hai. That is when Jodha realized that she has spoken the truth herself. Jalal says- Ab bolo humari jan kyon udas hai? Jodha - Voh.. humara matlab... Kya hua ki.. After this she did not know how to cover up the fact. Jalal says- Kya hua ki hume bahane nahi mil rahe hain. Hume sirf sach sunna hai. Jodha knew Jalal will not trust her until she has proofs so she decides to tell the truth but the half.
