Hi all,

Today is 19th January 2015 and it is the 418th death anniversary of Maharana Pratap of Mewar.
Maharana Pratap passed away on 19th January 1597.

I have posted some details about the last days of his life and his conflict with Akbar here.
The post is a humble tribute ..

MAHARANA PRATAP

The MAN whose name still resonates in the sands of Rajputana, even today.

A great warrior of liberty, a devoted lover of noble cause and a hero of moral character, his name is to millions of men even today, a cloud of hope by the day and a pillar of fire by the night..

it's very informative. Maharana Pratap also one of great worrier in history. we seeing history so his name included in top list. and also we can't forgot the friendship of Maharana Pratap and favorite Horse Chetak. because Chetak give his life for saving Maharana Pratap life. it's good example of loyalty.
