Sindhu yes the " other show" 😉 is based on the novel 20th wife and yes Ruks is the only wife shown...I don't mind that at all. It was a fictional novel written very well by the author who needed to add spice to her novel and Ruk's character fits in with this because Nur Jehan was her lady in waiting. I have no issues with that. BUT THIS IS A SHOW ON JODHA AKBAR!! How does the narrative of the 20th wife fit in this context? I dont know why the CVs are now trying to follow the 20th wife narrative...it makes no sense in this show 😲

ela i agree its more of a fiction than reality but i am loving the direction..screenplay..and characterization!..and ruk has been shown grey as well but in a better and realistic way..the rest of the begums have not been shown at all because its all about salim and they will show all salim's important begums...how i wish JA had continued its glory of first 6 months which got lost in quest of trps and sbs tadka!

all the stress, tension I went through for this Serial as I had JJ close to my heart. Now I feel like a fool and cheated.😭 what use now saying. All I can say is Ekta and CVS were not fair to Parijat. They worked hard and deserved this serial to end on a high note. I wanted this to happen for both of them.

I may be a minority here but I think the leap in itself is not so bad...Jodha/ Akbar have to get old. This new leap could have injected new life into the serial...but alas the CVs are choosing to take forward all the negativity of Ruks and SAlim's resentement against his parents which will not work at all. For the leap to succeed they must sideline this horrible villain they have created in Ruks and show the level of love and respect Salim had for his parents. We all know they are not going to do that.

Ela I just finished reading the Jehangirnama and I am astounded at the misinformation being spread about Salim's relationship with his parents in this show. Its unforgivable!!!

Priya we all are fed up of negativity that Ruk brings...Since the begining this serial has been following Indu Sudarshan's novel and showing so called great friendship between Jalal and Ruk..The fact is that novel is total fiction and distortion of history...

I agree with you that JJ had to get old one day but that day could be delayed...first they should have shown their youth and covered proper historical events...and shown political tracks...given the coverage that was Jalal's due...I am an RT's fan too and wanted him to shine here...and I love Jallu too but I take him to be a great king and do not deny that he too had his flaws too...

I agree Ruk has murdered this serial in reality...She has committed crimes after crimes and has gotten away with them and the nature of her crimes are deplorable..

I have not read Jahangirnama but it is true that Salim respected his father and mother enormously..and Ruk was not given his mother's place at all ...All this is fiction and being taken from the novel...

father son rivalry and sibling rivalry has been a part of history with the sole purpose in quest of power..salim revolted against his father is well recorded in history and what was the reason again power and authority..but what exactly must have lead to it all is again eveyone's personal interpretation and history is a mystery funda..but that is how history is made and that is how stories are made..and then they lead to debates and discussions..! but if all goes smooth then kisse kahaniyan kahan se banegi😛

Sindhu in Salim's reign inner circle had Noor, her parents and her brother and Khurram...No Ruk...Yes Salim let Noor had a say in administration but not abt important matters..His decision was last...
