Chapter - 9

Jalal's inner turmoil vanished. His heart is at peace. He asks the Hakima till when she will get alright and whether she is out of danger. To which Hakima replies she is out of danger and completely fine. She has prescribed medicines which Jodha has to take regularly. The hakima asks permission to leave. Jalal thanks her and gives her lot of money and jewels to express his gratitude. Jalal orders that nobody will be allowed to enter his room. Jalal goes out and informs Hamida and Salima that Jodha is completely fine and there is no need to worry and request them not to come in as he wants to spend some time alone with Jodha. He goes inside his room and goes and sits beside jodha, holds her and says- Jaldi utho na jodha hume satana band karo. Hume tum se dehr sari bate karni hai aur sihkaite bhi karni hai. Suddenly Jodha opens her eyes and jalal is overwhelemed by this. He says with tears in his eyes - Jodha kya ap thik hai? Jodha was still in pain, but she could clearly see how worried he was so she forces a smile and nods her head gently with much difficulty and assures him that she is fine. Even though jodha was trying her best to show jalal that she is fine jalal knew that she was still in pain. He very well knew that whatever happens to her she would never see him sad although she was in extreme agony. This is when Jodha asks for water. Jalal goes and gets a cup of water. He just wanted to capture her in a bone crushing hug, and scold her for trying to go away from her but he controlled his emotions as he knew she was very weak and did not want to hurt her as he had already hurted her to a extreme. He did not have the guts to make eye contact with her because, he held himself guilty for her state. Jodha also very well knew what was going on his mind and she was determined to remove his guilt. He kept the glass aside on the table and gently helped her getting up and made her sit , but she was too weak even to sit and her forehead was paining badly. So she goes and bangs with Jalal who was sitting opposite to her. She goes and bangs with his manly chest when both their bodies feel each other they lose their control over their emotions. Jalal captures jodha into a bone crushing hug jodha's body is paining badly, but her pleasure over weighs her pain and she also hugs him back. Both of them began to cry out of happiness and content. They both very happy as they were together again and this time forever. Destiny and fate both failed to part them. Their souls and hearts were inseparable from each other. Their love was so divine and so pure that destiny and fate had to bow their head before their love. Jalal says sobbing- Tumhe pata hai jodha hum kitna dar gaye the . Hakima ne bhi keh diya tha ki tum mar gaye ho. Kya tum janti ho hume kaise laga? Hum aisa laga jaise humari jan humse kisine ne chin li ho. Hume aisa laga jaise humari sanse, humari dhadkan, humari zindagi tham gaye ho, kahatam ho gaye ho. Yeh sab humari galti hai hum ek shuhar hokar bhi apki ifajazt nahu kar paye. Hum apne apko zindagi bahr muaff nahi kar payenge. Aap janti hain na ki apko khone ke khwab se hi humari roh kap janti hai. Phir kyon ap hume chod kar ja rahi . Hume apse bat nahi karni . Kya apne ek bar bhi nahi socha ki apke bina humara kya hoga. Hum ja rahe hai kyonki ap ko humse dur rahene pasand hai. Jalal gets up and begins moving . That is when jodha gets up from the bed although having no strength left in her she tries her level best to go and stop him, but Alas! All her effort goes in vain as he had left the room. Jalal himself was confused with his behaviour that why he had left her in such a condition and stood outside his room and began thinking the reason behind his strange behaviour. As some time before he wanted to hug her and make up to her. This when he realized he was more hurt by her attempt to suicide not once but twice than his guilt. He did not know whether he was angry with her or with himself, he was confused. Then he concluded that he was angry with himself as well as her. He was angry with her because she was ready to leave him all alone in this world, where nobody loved him as person, but only loved him because he was the king. She was the only one person who loved him as a person, she loved his heart not his possessions or status and he was angry with himself because he had failed to protect her. Jalal wanted to be some time alone and wanted to comprehend what he wanted. Did he want to her understand how upset he was with her attempt to suicide or whether he wanted to go and apologise to her. He needed some time to think and he was about to move. When he hears something crashing down from his room . He know that it is jodha he turns and goes inside and notices jodha's body falling on the ground with a thud. He runs and carries her and a semiconscious jodha says-Shehanshah hume shama kar dijiye. Hum apke bin jiye nahi payenge. Jalal gently lays her on the bed and asks the servant to call the hakima. Jalal realizes that somehow she managed to come halfway to the direction of the door. Jalal says to unconscious jodha -Hum apko taklef nahi dena chacte hain.Par hume samajhne ki koshish kijiye.
