What a wonderful post Marshi. You have refreshed the memory of the fiery spirited Jodha of Amer the spunky brave one who was just so so special.
I watched JA from the episode where Jalal accused Jodha & her brothers in DEK saying jinda jala denge and Jodha was in veil her dupatta covering her face but even from that I could see the hatred fearlessness and pride blazing thru in her eyes. I just loved her and then on was hooked to JA.
However much I loved JA - Jodha was the reason I watched and loved and THIS Jodha and the butchering of her character is the reason I stopped watching.
Loved your line in bold - yes true CVs have destroyed the proud fiery Jodha but we still keep her in our hearts. I would rather remember her than watch this dispirited defeated one.
