I cannot believe that private lives of Akbar and his wives would be discussed and get so openly publicised. Its usually his warrior and administrator role that used to be discussed.
TV serial wants TRPs and has promoted this as a love story so they cannot show Akbar spending time with other wives not even speaking with others than Jodha
But in real history Akbar was a Casanova kind of person who had many wives, cocubbines and maids and had kids with many of these. Just because a Salim was born to Jodha does not mean other kids who lived or died young were not born to other wives, cocubbines and maids. Among those who lived only we are sure the three girl kids were not Jodha's they were Daulat Shads(Shakrunissa and Aram) and Salima's(Khannum) and the boys also no one knows who was mother of Murad and Daniyal and most probably they were from cocubbines given to Jodha and Salima to upbring.
But now how can serial CVs show Murad and Danyial and 3 other girls as other wives children? Murad was 10 months younger to Salim and here looks 3-4 years younger. Daniyal may look 5-6 years younger as per promo and the girls we have no idea. All this distortion is just to prove Akbar had physical relation only with Jodha and not with others.
First of all the world has no clue that Akbar had any kids other than Salim and they are surprised to see so many kids around Akbar calling him abu. Above that the confusion in serial to show who is whose child. So here comes the tricky situation if you show Jodha mother of 6 kids with so less age difference all will think how is it biologically possible because its just impossible.
In those times birth rate chance was 30% i.e. out of 10 kids given birth 3 would survive above 5 years. So Jodha must give birth to 20 kids for her to have 6 kids surviving after 5 years or more. Is that ever possible? Further the age difference is so less between many 3 kids born between 10 months and 2 kids born within 1.5 years etc so biologically it cannot be possible that Jodha must have given birth to them.
Hence serial makers are in catch 22 situation now by showing Akbar as one man woman which he was really not. Lets see how they show all 6 kids as Jodha's?
The second Catch 22 situation is Salima Begum and Akbar relationship. In real history Salima was just 3 years elder to Akbar and she married him at age of 20. So they must have had normal relationships. Drik Collier in the "Emperors writings" specifices that Salima was his favourite wife apart from advisor. So even if we assume Khannum(given to hamida) and Murad born to cocubbine instead of Salima and given to her for upbringing yet Akbar had a great relationship with her and loved her and trusted her. And not to forget she was his first cousin sister not a stranger
Salima married BK when she was 14-15 years and he 50+. So I think this was marriage of convienence arranged by Humayun to establish a relationship with BK. So why should she and Akbar not have a normal relationship and why Salima is shown as spending time in BK yaad. Marriage with BK may be forced against her wishes. May be marrying a young man like Akbar was what she had wanted and wished for. So why this was shown by serial as a amanat relationship?
The third catch 22 situation was Ruqaiah Akbar relation where CVs started showing her as villan and made Akbar hate her and go away from her. But Salima they always showed positive and good so what they shall show is a mystery?
How will CV show Daulat Shad with whom he had 2 daughters one at age 42? Lets see
OR may be they show all kids as Jodha's?
Further issues shall arise when Akbar who married cocubbines, divorcee and widows will tell Salim he can marry only unmarried young royal princesses of parents choice
