Rashmi, thanks so much for making this thread for our lovely friend Radhika. Very sweet of you. 😊
Congratulations Radhika... I don't have to tell you how much I admire you as a writer. You know that already. 😉 I still remember when I first started reading your posts on Abhay's threads. I could tell that you write straight from the heart...no diplomacy. I really admire this quality in people...the guts to be able to write what you believe in and still take the time to read, analyze and discuss another POV with an open mind. I loved our never ending " rainbow discussions" in the good old days of JA. Unfortunately, I am not able to post much these days...quit watching JA long back. Still enjoy the forum discussions because of writers like you Please continue to write and don't forget to send a PM when you make a long post. I'm eager to catch up on your Rukkaiyafication thread this weekend.
Happy Halloween!
Luv n hugs,🤗

Hi Sindhu,
No scary costumes for me this year... am ready with my bag of chocolate candy for the little angels in my neighborhood...trick or treating time!
My " quit JA" journey was frustratingly slow...factors that helped me were
1. Disgusting bundle of lies dished out in the name of a historical NR coupled with a below average presentation started getting on my nerves.
2. Distraction...I was suddenly very busy ( thank God or else I would hv continued watching out of habit) ...didn't want to waste my precious TV time on something that continued to be the worst half an hour of my otherwise good day...for months.
Now, even if i hv time, WATCHING the show is the last thing I do...however, I am thankful to the show for introducing me to some wonderful friends and writers on this forum.
This story had the potential of becoming an unforgettable masterpiece. It is sad that it is dying a slow and painful death because of lack of creativity, favoritism and TRP race. Like most other forum friends who enjoy watching historicals, I am also waiting for Ashoka to begin. People who made Mahabharat did a good job( my opinion based on the few episodes I watched) ...hope they will do justice to Emperor Ashoka.
Tc,
Cleo
