Couldn't they have used this festive atmosphere to incorporate some 'peace', 'prosperity' and 'erudition' in the show????

Even one week of Jodha and Akbar at Chisti baba's place would have felt so nice and calming for the serial.. Like a Badal and Kajri track... they could have showed a gentler transition.

Some ideas I came up with - in another thread - wanted to post it here too.

I would have loved to watch the following scenes -

1) Jalal sending a message to Todarmal and Maan Singh about his whereabouts and letting them alone know where he is and that he wants to serve at the Baba's ashram for few months with Jodha. Remote managing the Sultanat from the ashram??? So people don't think he is absconding 😆

2) Jodha plucking flowers for pooja by herself and doing pooja of a mitti ki moorthi that Jalal helped her make. Then, both doing Namaaz too.

3) Both of them eating together - sitting on the floor like commoners - enjoying some normal lifestyle - healthy and wholesome...

4) The ladies at the ashram caring for her - and side-by-side Jalal doing the same too.

5) Jalal musing to himself - planning administrative issues there.

6) Jalal listening to philosophical talks by the baba like his other followers - learning a few lessons in life.

7) Both listening to poetry, shaayars. Jalal expanding his knowledge!

8) Jalal doing some social service to make up for his guilt during Chittor war in and around the area - and in the process bonding with a few children there who don't know he's the Shehenshah???

9) At the end of it all, Jalal pacing outside the hut like a 'typical' filmy version of our village heroes during the time of delivery. Him actually running pillar to post to search for a good hakima.

Ok yes.. this does have a Panchvati feel to it.. but we do know Akbar and HK went to Chisti Sahab's place for 'religious' reason and as a form of penance na.. At least some happy times before the arrival of Salim???
