Sorry to say, Ekta skipped many parts...

1.
First of all, Jalal did NOT fight personally, except killing one soldier. {Can't give details of history.}😉

2.
Jauhar we all know happens at night, but Ekta ka Jauhar is pathetic, it happened in day.. 😕

3.
By the way, another nonsense, Jaimal got hit by Jalal's bullet "at night", while he was inspecting repairs of Fort Walls, but Ekta showed it happened in war in DAY openly..👎🏼

4. Ekta needs to inspect the Fort Gates of Chittor...The gates remained intact in a siege of 4 months, here she has showed it broken by wood logs..😕 LOL.

Precap:
I won't be shocked if Jalal kills BOTH the Lady and Child. 🥱

By the way, is she going to show the destruction/Farman which Jalal issued after the war.?.
NO. Good for her and her SHOW.

Is she going to show Battle cry of AKBAR.?.
NO. Good for her and her SHOW.

Anyways, it was OK, she has NOT shown the massacre..Otherwise pata nahi kya hota.. 😊

Actually it is a good thing if she has not shown this actual battle...Books give account of it and it was a horror...Yes Jaimal got hit during night while looking at some reconstruction...EK will not show destruction of temples or killing of civilians or issuing of that horrible farman either...Now I am wondering what was that removal of jizyah and pilgrimage tax was when this war was to be declared a victory over kaffirs? and yes I too wont be surprised if she shows killing of that child and abduction of mother...

thats why I have stopped watching this show as I can't tolerate the partiality he is doing.

I sort of get the feeling that Ekta no longer cares whether this show remains on air or not because the kind of risks that Ekta is taking in showing this event and Jalal's atrocious behavior would have been most unlikely even a few months back.

The most jarring thing in all this is Jalal has gone from a monster to saint and then again a monster. In real life Akbar slowly grew out of his violent phase as he embraced spirituality, he never bobbed in an out of it like this 'natkiya rupantar'.

The siege and destruction of Chittor is a very sensitive subject well beyond the capabilities of this pathetic bunch of CV's.

In those times, such wanton destruction was deemed necessary to give a message to others resisting. Every medieval and early king, has a massacre or two to their names. Alexander the Great, razed entire cities to cower the Persians into submission. We all know of Asoka.

The treatment of this is very complex, that is why most histories try to leave it alone. If you are brave enough to attempt a well researched depiction, it becomes compelling to watch. Not so in our case, that was pathetic. It should have been avoided because I can't understand what purpose it served. Turning your hero into a blood thirsty fiend, does that make sense.

Very well written Ela...the chittor massacre is reality...its a historical fact...it is something that Akbar did..period.

Chittor massacre cannot be rationalised or justified...and it definitely cannot be justified by linking it to the death of the twins...infact it had nothing to do with the death of the twins...it should have been handled with great sensitivity...

At least the real Akbar was man enough not to blame harka bai for the death of the twins...and nor did he distance himself from her post their death...

This jalal is so weak and such a pathetic excuse of a man that he uses the woman he loves as a convenient scapegoat to blame and to lash out at in order to facilitate his own healing...where is the father in jalal...who should by now have finished ruk for her evil plotting and planning that led to the separation of a mother and child and culminated in the death of his children...where is the man in jalal that he cannot be his beloved's shield when she is defenceless in grief...it is of great consolation to me that despite chittor and ranthambore (which cannot be rationalised from any angle)...the real akbar was with harka during their personal tragedies...that he did not blame her for any of them...that he did not distance himself from her when she needed him the most...that he upheld the dignity of his wife and muz...
