Salim may actually make us all laugh again collectively.

You know Anu,When I was in college ,the college canteen was managed by a guy called Salim.And he was famous all over the city for his " chai" and when he died two years back in his young age of 40 something ,there was a Facebook tribute put by our college,.

So I associate Salim with garam chai ki pyali.

And JJ's Salim had many other things in his pyali than chai.😆

after viewing the 'specimens' in our documentaries...we throw them back in the water and let them swim wherever and we get all anxious coz we can't find them...till one day we do on the surface again...where things are calm and pleasant ... where we again see far to the horizon ...the big picture...no storms...no waves.

awww ... I think Salim would be just the right mix of JJ...the best of both in one package. Okay personality doesn't work like that...but just indulge me. He is in many ways their lasting legacy to Hindustan and he was quite an effective warrior and ruler. Despite Akbar's shadow, Jehangir did do a lot. Without Anarkali they can show his other marriages first. Jallu is good at arranging marriages...high success rate.

I personally feel insulted by that phrase

Interesting fact was that after H&H died no other begum not even a concubine could deliver a baby and after five years ,it was Jodha again with Salim.

He had it in his subconscious mind that only she will be the MUZ.I don't think even if a concubine had given him Salim then he would have made her MUZ.MUZ was someone very next to him and she had to be capable of doing justice to that post.

Yes, so Magal, when you zoom in, when you dive deep, I stay on the surface. Goodness knows what's down there at those depths. Most forms of life can't even survive there...so how is this cheerful ?

but anyway, that's your department. I will just train my binoculars on the first signs of Salim.

Even if personality worked that way, JA CVs would not let it function that way 😆
