Divi, I absolutely agree with you. If you hear his tone, the question is on both side. The fact that there was a question and not an accusation asserts our belief.
He drew curtains on her because he himself was empty and had nothing to offer her, all that he'd he offered during Hasan's demise and before he could refill himself, he was broken .
Jodha too inspite of superficial distance is in same space as Jalal, she too is empty and broken and therefore had not opposed his ways strongly as against before.

They both are still together in this separation.

They still acknowledge each other's presence and not oblivious to it, which means they still FEEL each other.

Both have not prayed in these three years.

Their faith is shaken in Almighty and in their Love, which is an extension of Him only...they've to search their love and their Ishq with Almighty all over again, together.

The moment Jalal flinched after seeing Jodha's blood says it all.

How could this not be an epic love? It's in every sense of word.

so true mishti ,for me he drew curtain as if he was sealing himself in side from outside world including her .he went in to his cocoon .
