Friends, yesterday's episode was a sort of climactic point growing out of the previous two episodes. The long and short of it was that Dadisa and Bharmal injected some speed into the plans of Zeenat to poison Husein, because Dadisa mooted the idea of taking Jodha and Husein away to Amer, far away from where Maham's curses may work. Zeenat was thus hustled into putting her Husein-poisoning plan to action with rather much haste. In this haste, we don't know if she was less careful than she always is and is thus on the verge of getting caught - or whether she will succeed in poisoning Husein without getting caught ...
She found her chance when Ruq left the baby with her and Hoshiyaar, and went for her bath. It was rather easy for Zeenat to despatch Hoshiyaar away on a false errand, and then when left alone with the baby, she wore her poisoned finger glove and was almost about to let the baby suck it and hasten towards its death ...
But alas, for Zeenat , Jalal decided to walk into the room just then with the one word "Bhabhi!"
Jalal had come checking on Husein for Jodha who was getting a sixth sense that Husein was in danger and she was not able to sit in peace till Jalal had ascertained that Husein was OK.
Now comes the big question that the episode never gave us answers for. Since Jalal had come specifically to check on whether Husein was in danger, was he alert to Zeenat being alone with Husein and was he watching Zeenat very carefully? Did he say "Bhabhi" like a greeting to Zeenat or did he say "Bhabhi" as a warning to her as he caught her in the act of poisoning Husein? Or did his word "Bhabhi" stop Zeenat from actually going ahead with the poisoning and thus save her from betraying herself?
We won't know till we see today's episode - but my hunch is that whenever an episode ends with such suspense, there's invariably an anti-climax waiting for us in the next episode, so let's not all jump to the conclusion that the baby was successfully poisoned by Zeenat. Most likely, Zeenat was halted in her tracks, and may have to try the poisoning another day. But the important factor is that Zeenat may be working against the urgency that Dadisa may take Husein away to Amer, and so Zeenat too doesn't have too much time. That's where we stand at the end of the episode.
For my analysis today, I have just two points to bring to everyone's notice ...
The Dadisa urgency is on side while Jodha's premonition urgency is on the other side
I think the CVs have successfully created two contra situations of urgency in the story from both sides.
On the one hand, Dadisa and Bharmal were shown filled with apprehension that Shaguni's prophecies may come true. Shaguni had said that the babies of Jodha would be safe from Maham's curses so long as they were outside the Agra Palace ... but if they were inside the Palace no insurance can be given for their safety. Dadisa shared this information with Jalal and Hamida and said it may be a good idea for her to take Jodha and Husein back to Amer, for the safety of the baby and for the change of scene for Jodha. Hamida had no objection, but Jalal was forced to explain to Bharmal and Dadisa this whole sordid story of how Jodha has given Husein to Ruq in adoption and so Ruq's writ now ran as far as Husein went and it was highly unlikely that would agree to such a plan to send Husein to Amer.
Nevertheless, the main objective of the CVs in bringing this Shaguni prophecy and Dadisa plan into the picture was met. The CVs wanted to introduce something that would create a sense of urgency in Zeenat and Qasim to complete their killing of Husein fast and thus meet their goals. Qasim who had been part of the family powwow on the Amer plan ran to his wife with the news that Dadisa had mooted this plan to carry away Husein to Amer and Hamida and Jalal seemed in favour of it. But Zeenat knew that they still had not received Ruq's nod and that she could work on Ruq to disagree to the plan to be parted from Husein. But still whatever Zeenat had to do to kill Husein now needed to be done on a war footing, just in case Jalal got Ruq to agree to the Amer plan!
On the other side of the story, the CVs injected another sort of urgency on the part of Jodha and Jalal. They made Jodha restless with premonitions that some great apshagun was waiting to happen to Husein, and Jodha was seen filled with some sort of sixth sense giving her great dread of an evil to befall Husein. Jalal tried to take her for a walk in the garden to change her mind and free herself from this creepy feeling. But it didn't help because the sky was full of dark clouds, a storm seemed imminent, and Jodha read this again as a sign of impending apshagun. She communicated her sense of restlessness and urgency to Jalal who realised she would have no peace unless he went and checked up on Husein - and so he went after leaving Jodha in the care of Moti and Zakira.
What the Creatives have thus done is to give two different heads of urgency surrounding the impending death of Husein and they have left us hanging between the two so that we will know Husein's fate only by tomorrow.
As a dramatic ploy, I thought it was a good idea that the Creatives have scripted this part of the story well. It is interesting that they have made Jodha and Jalal galvanised by the premonitions of Jodha and alert to something sisnister that could happen, even as they have simultaneously lit a stick of dynamite under Zeenat's bottom to hurry with her evil deeds before Dadisa can have her way with the Amer plan.
There's not much we can do folks except wonder at all the many possibilities that now lie before us and see what the story will be like if these permutations and combinations come to pass ...
An exploration of the possibilities now ...
As I see it, what could happen now is one of three scenarios ...
One, Zeenat is successful with the poisoning of the baby and Jalal is a trifle too late in reaching Husein.
Two, Zeenat is halted in her plan by Jalal reaching the room just before the baby is poisoned.
Three, Jalal is just in time to see Zeenat poisoning Husein and catches her in the act.
We then have to match what we saw in the precap with each of these scenarios to see how the precap may play out if these scenarios were to turn out right. In the precap, Ruq is seen challenging Jalal saying "Are you trying to do tarafdaari of Jodha who was responsible for the death of Hasan by her neglect?" Jalal is so enraged by this accusation on Jodha that he raises a hand to slap Ruq. But in a timely fashion Ruq gets a bout of choking and coughing that immediately makes Jalal attend to her emergency rather than react to her words. Was that a ploy by Ruq to avert the slap from Jalal? Or was she genuinely choking over something?
Anyway, to start off all our speculations and predictions for today I have tried to again give you two predictions ... one from Diksha and one from myself.
Please feel free to share your own predictions of what may happen, and do remember to include two things - one, whether you believe Zeenat poisoned Husein successfully or not, and two, how you see the precap scene playing out if your prediction came true.
So here is Diksha's prediction first ... (Diksha has given three possibilities)
"Episode ended with Jalal calling zeenat's name when she is abt to feed Hussain the poison... she is shocked to hear Jalal's voice, but her finger remains near Hussain's mouth...so he will suck it, and get poisoned...
or this time he is saved... but as per precap, ruku will pretend to faint... ... but when Ruku will faint and act to be in much sorrow, Jalal will feel guilty and will agree not to seperate Hussain from her and this will give Zeenat more time with Hussain and she will feed him poison...but this time she may get caught
one more possibility is, ... and i feel this may be more correct...
as i said, as per last scene, Jalal has called Zeenat but her finger is near Hussain's mouth... and may be he has already sucked it... but when Jalal calls her, frightened Zeenat may drop that poison finger on floor in haste, and go back giving Hussain to Jalal... then precap scene of ruku faint will happen... Jalal will be worried for ruku and may plead her to give Hussain to Jo for some time and seeing Jalal's anger, Ruku ll agree for one night...
Jalal will give Hussain to Jo... then Hussain will start showing same symptomes like Hassan, and Ruku will blame Jo for playing with Hussain's health, and will blame Jo to be jealous of ruku who ll now become MUZ instead of Jo... all ll be shocked...
there in Ruku's room, Hoshiyar ll get that poisoned finger and ll show it to Jalal who will remember zeenat trying to put her finger in Hussain's mouth... and then he ll suspect of it and on checking, Hakima ll declare that finger has poison on it...
there Zeenat and her hubby will be abt to leave but Jalal will caught them in time and Zeenat will accept killing Hassan...this will make Jalal angry, but more than him , i feel, it will be Jo who ll blame ruku for being responsible for killing her baby and putting Hussain's life in danger, as Ruku was the one who hired Zeenat , just to keep Jo away from him for her selfish intentions and indirectly helped her in taking revenge by killing Jalal's babies... Jalal will agree with this and ruku will be punished..."
(Folks, I just love the speed with which Diksha's prediction ends with Ruq punishment!)
Accha, now here is my own prediction:
I have seen spoilers that say that Zeenat makes many tries to be successful with poisoning the kids, but whether she is successful is left as an open question. So I expect that when Jalal enters the room of Ruq and shouts "Bhabhi!" Zeenat is halted in her tracks and does not succeed in poisoning Ruq. Meanwhile Ruq returns from her bath and has the precap scene confrontation with Jalal.
This time Jalal says it was very neglectful of Ruq to go for a bath trusting Husein to just Zeenat and with no one else reliable in the room, and in the light of the Shaguni prophecies of Dadisa, Ruq had put Husein's life in danger! That is when Ruq may fire back saying "You are doing tarafdaari of Jodha when she killed Hasan by her neglect?" Jalal will raise his hand to hit Ruq but she will fake a timely choking bout and redirect Jalal's attention temporarily.
Anyway Ruq will then get a feeling that if Jalal wants to, he can use the reverse farman on her for going for a bath and leaving Husein alone with Zeenat. So to avoid Jalal taking the extreme step, she may decide to fob him off with a small deal. She may say "Okay I'll give Husein for one night to Jodha!" and thus take Jalal's mind off the application of the reverse farman (in case he starts thinking about it!)
After the baby has spent one night with Jodha and Jalal has seen Jodha so happy, he will tell Ruq to give the baby back to Jodha permanently and say that if she doesn't do that, he is going to use the reverse farman on her for neglect of Husein anyway - and he will take the baby away from her. Ruq will be forced to agree to Husein spending more time with Jodha while she thinks of a plan to get Husein back.
This is when both Zeenat and Ruq will get hustled by the need to do something urgently. I think Ruq will separately plot on drugging Jodha to make her also look like a neglectful mother so that Jalal is forced to give Husein back to her, while Zeenat will plot on killing the baby while he is with Jodha. As per an earlier promo Jodha may catch Zeenat in the act of trying to poison, but Zeenat may not have actually poisoned the baby. But simultaneously Jodha herself may also fall ill from Ruq's drugging, and also Husein may die from drinking Jodha's milk. Jalal may hear Jodha's story and catch Zeenat for the attempt to murder Husein, but find that the poison given to Jodha is in the same that killed Husein and its not the same poison as is in Zeenat's glove ... and so it may be traced that Ruq was the one who drugged Jodha and the poison from Jodha's bloodstream entered Husein and killed him.
Seeing Husein dead and her audha chances reduced to zero, and being caught for the murder of Husein, Ruq may blabber that she didn't intend to kill Husein or Jodha, but only wanted Jodha to be neglectful so she could get the baby and the audha. She may thus get punished.
(I still maintain my prediction that the baby will die from Ruq's poison and not Zeenat's poison because the punishment to Ruq may be more severe ... as I want it to be!)
All that happened in yesterday's episode ...
The episode opens with Dadisa telling Jalal and Hamida about Shaguni's prophecy that the babies will be safe only outside the Palace and not insideit. Dadisa expresses her wish to take Husein with Jodha to Amer where Jodha will be happier and the baby safe. Hamida has no objection but Jalal says ruefully "It's impossible because Jodha has given Husein to Ruq - and Ruq's permission will be needed".
Meanwhile Qasim who was in that family meeting quickly calls Zeenat and says there is a plan to take Husein to Amer. Zeenat says "Ruq will never agree but still we have to act fast on poisoning Husein as it is not safe for me to go with the baby to amer and try the poisoning there." Zeenat says she will tell Ruq not agree to the Amer plan and will try the poison act as fast as possible.
Zeenat then goes and tells the whole Amer plan to Ruq who gets very uptight and refuses to part with Husein even if Maham's curses may operate in Agra. She says she doesn't believe in Shaguni prophecies either. She says this must be Dadisa's plan to give Husein to Jodha permanently. Just then a bandhi says Jalal has called Ruq with Husein.
Ruq goes with Husein to Jalal. Dadisa is so thrilled to see Jodha's baby and says his nose is just like jodha. Bharmal too is thilled. But when Dadisa and Bharmal have given gifts to the baby, Dadisa tries to hold the child ... but Ruq pulls back to disallow this, saying they are trying to take away her child. Jalal is upset. Hamida is ashamed. Bharmal and Dadisa take insult and walk out of the room.
Jodha is in her room with Moti and Zakira. She is very uneasy hearing Maham's curses ringing in her head. She feels some danger is coming to Husein. She wants to go to him but can't because of Ruq. Jalal walks in and she begs him to check on Husein as she senses some apshagun to the baby. Jalal consoles her and says it's just imagination.
Jalal decides to take Jodha for a walk in the garden to change her mind. But again she sees storm clouds and fears for Husein. Jalal sees she will have no peace unless he goes to check on Husein, so he agrees to go and heads for Ruq's room. Meanwhile Zeenat wants to do her deed fast and heads for Ruq's room too.
Ruq sees Zeenat and is happy. She wants to take a bath and leaves the baby with Zeenat and Hoshiyaar. Seeing her chance, Zeenat puts on the poison finger glove and sends Hoshiyar out saying it looks like Ruq is calling. When alone she carries Husein to a corner of the room and is about to feed the poison finger to the baby ... but Jalal enters just in time saying "bhabhi" ...
The episode ends in suspense.
In the precap, Jalal and Ruq are in Ruq's hojra when Ruq shouts at Jalal "You are doing tarafdaari of Jodha whose neglect has killed Hasan?". Hearing this against Jodha, Jalal loses his cool and goes to slap Ruq. But just the she gets some choking in her throat and Jalal is forced to attend that emergency ... (is it an act by Ruq?)
I wonder how many more days we will have to do this amateur sleuthery before the CVs take pity on our poor attempts at detective fiction and give us their final conclusion!
