All of their relationships (and I've actually been lucky to see a couple of groups like this) are so so so supportive.. In a way, Jodha has learnt a few big lessons in whom to trust and whom not to trust too! 😳

And it's not just Renu who saved their lives here.

Look at it this way

Jalal saved Maan from going to prison

He saved Payal from ignominy

Jalal helped Salim and Sana during the raids

Abdul saved Jodha now by ensuring paramedics took her first (and then, obviously Jalal)

Renu saved Jalal by getting lock opened in time!

Meera's played the telephone operator calling people around and co-ordinating the police/ambulance/families etc

Apart from these incidents, earlier ones too -

Renu and all of his friends helped Jodha during he eve-teasing campaign - when they assumed she'd been drugged by Shareef

Jodha when she used to make and bring lunch for Jalal - always used to bring twice the amount for Abdul too (till possibly she started suspecting him as the texter)

Despite Jalal being so head-over-heels in love with Jodha - never let her speak a word against his friends. And she respected that forever too! She never even uttered a word against them - even Renu - because she knew the 'nature' of their relationship!

Now literally because of all of this - ALL their friends have pooled in and helping them out during the hospital stay (esp since Jalal's mom is in no state of mind to carry the whole thing on her shoulders!)

So yes, these guys are a good gang! 👍🏼
