how can ruk be completely taken out of the picture?-DT NT Pg13 - Page 13

Mandy she is not the heroine who has been portrayed as so gr8 that there are posts that say that she is too good for Akbar too - toh all other women in Akbar's life - his other chief queens and lawfully wedded wives and other wives and concubines are all sautens !!! Becoz their existence reduces the heroine - I wonder how - so all ther so called 'other women' will be bashed and so will Akbar - becoz the heroine is not being pontified by them - just as the girlfriends and women friends of the hero in other shows are bashed along with the hero !!! Aur sab yahan tolerance ki baat karte hain !!!

yes adi, and as sara said that majority of us are watching the show with binoculars of 21st century vision where the male has to obey the female and he has to be one woman man but how was it possible then? and among so many females all were not mahaan they all had their own qualities to offer to the emperor!

Mandy, I agree that we can't make Ruqaiyya disappear...but the CVs have made her character unbearable. ...from what little i know of history, the real ruqaiyya was the longest surviving queen. ...and to survive that long and pull the strings, she surely wouldn't have been the stupid irritating types being portrayed on the show...the real one must have been a silently scheming (and succeeding) type and not the absolutely repulsive one we see on the show...and in a polygamous set up, for the queens it was about survival...either remain irrelevant and survive or if you are powerful queen, then you would have to work extra hard to ensure that you remain powerful. ...and i feel both jodha and ruqaiyya are survivors...they may have had different means to achive their position or retain it...maybe jodha was a noble lady and ruqaiyya not so noble, but in the end they were powerful. ...i know i am making a blasphemous statement, but i think both ladies were very smart! And what we get on this show are dumb ladies. Buy that doesn't mean i have no appreciation for noble intentioned or good hearted human beings...i just can't visualise harem politics in a spiritual way.

Recently I am not liking ruq because there is no kindness left in her and not liked jodhas extra kindness for everyone except jalal. I support neither of them.

I had the same question, what bhandaphod of Ruq. Jodha and Jalal knows everything that she did. If that is about her Audha MUZ title and hence the adoption, it makes her selfish mean and unkind human being but it does not make her criminal. Yes she is not an ideal women but to her defence till now she did not commit crimes like maham.

She seems to genuinely lover her child and hiring Zeenat is a mistake just like how jo did with shenu.

I cetainly dont like her or agree with her...but people forget that she is real. Ppl like ruq exist in every day life, in our homes ofcourse not as dramatic as being shown.

I am all in for Jalal jo to put Ruq in her place but I dont hate her or keep her responsible for every stupid decision of jodha.

Ruq made an atrocious demand to which jodha happily accepted but still Jo is no fault. Jo again went against jalas wishes and sacrificed her baby, still it is ruq fault.

Jalal tried his best but she did not listen. Now when ruq is not letting her touch tje child, then it is jalal's fault since he did not shut her up.

he is expected to always act for jo and his vabies when jo goes totally opposite. I agree Jo is a great human being , kindness personified but the same person can go against jalal wishes every time and answer him back why cant she answer ruq. She is just following ruq orders these days.

but noone has problem with that, they only complain why jalal is not punishing ruq.

In the end, if you love a character more than anything else in the show, you just defend the person right or wrong and also hate anyone who goes slightly against them. No body cares about Story, direction , logic, acting...only their fav character has to right all the time.

Okay I know you are hard core Jalal fan and I am hard core Akdha fan so this view is from eye of hard core Akdha fan I wont be bias to anybody and write whole track genuinly First Jodha is not mahan in giving baby to another lady as it is custom of that era as test tube baby and other fertilty things doesnt invented in that time and it was popular in India till 50years back and happened frequently even my parents also witness the same so I didnt feel it strange. second thing about farmaan is genuine as mother devlop affection and might be back out with adoption. About bhandafore of ruks I dont know how it will happen and what they will disclose If it was fake pregnancy time of ruks than it would be ruks bhandabhore second thing I felt bad that instead of taking ill kid to his mother she ran towards zeenat but no one give comfort to a child than and Jodha she did a common thing of that era but to a wrong person like ruks who is so insecure Now showing her crying and torturing and begging her kid from ruks is not so royal as royal people dont beg once they give something to someone If say in one line one dadaji lives nearby was adopted years ago and in written they were not allowed to meet their mother when fall ill that mother herself take them to birthmother and break all rules and he has relation with that family too so in creating drama dont forget humanity honestly adoption thing is present in worst manner
