Ruqaiah has always misbehaved with Jodha and even Salima
But I was surprised to see two of Akbar's other begums calling her huzoor today
Are they not all wives of Akbar?
Why should they call Ruqaiah Huzoor why not call her Ruqaiah begum?
I do not understand one more thing why add begum for everything?
Why not call Ruqaiah, Salima, Jodha etc
I do not like Ruqaiah behaviour with Akbar's two not so famous wives
Its like as if Ruqaiah is some high class and they are some low class wives
Don't they also come from royal families? or nobel families?
Then how Akbar give her licence to behave so with his other wives
And then she openly says to Jodha "I do not want you to touch Hussain" Hussan is her son so how can ruqaiah say so and jalal kept quiet and hamida too?
Looks like Ruqaiah is Humayun's daughter and emperor and jalal and others are her subordinates

The Begum is the title added to their names comes with their post (on marrying the king). And they will be addressed by adding that out of respect as the royal ladies are not supposed to be addressed in singular. In south, the queens will be addressed as maharani or Rani will be prefixed to the names and begum will be suffixed to their names.

Even their husband was not allowed address them in singular in public.

Those two woman were most probably Agahas and Agachas...Agahas are woman of less or no royal family and low in status compared to begums...Agachas are woman who are paid on monthely basis and you can call them rakhail...Jalal has only 3 khas begums though he was entitled to keep 4 by Islam...two were from his family and the only outsider is Jodha...
