Beautifully articulated post Divya .
I listened to all the BGM's .
Liked the one from Mouna Ragam , Dil Se , Minnale and Mozhi . The first one stood apart . Master musical wizard Illaiyaraja's music is simply awesome . Yes , you are right . Anirudh's BG scores are also good . Mozhi , I am a little partial to , not only did I like the music by Vidyasagar , it also has Prithviraj in it . ARR's BG music for Dil Se is good too . I also loved his work in 'Taal' , 'Gentleman' and 'Minsara Kanavu' .
Coming to JA , I liked the music playing in the background , during Jalal/Jodha's first moments of intimacy , especially when Jalal tells Jodha . "agar aap mujhe nahi rokti , phir bhi main nahin jaata" . The music had a divinely melodious feel to it . I also like the bhajan 'hey murlidhar , hey damodar' very much . I don't get to hear it very often these days .
