Loved your double take and really Ashwini's Mahamanga deserved the applause. She just lived her character. Have always loved her acting skills, especially she goes a notch further when the actor in front of her is so versatile too. Have heard many actors who say that they are always inspired and motivated when their co-star / actor is equally good. So, here we go, we got some great scenes between Rajat and Ashwini for the past one year. Just enjoyed to the hilt.

I can say only that which I have heard from elders and grand parents. Whatever or however evil or bad a mother is to her own children, SHE IS MOM AND NOBODY CAN TAKE THAT AWAY FROM HER. SHE MAY HAVE NOT REALIZED THIS WHILE LIVING, BUT, AS A SON OR DAUGHTER, YOU GIVE HER WITHOUT QUESTION, WITHOUT EGO WHAT SHE WANTS RIGHTEOUSLY DURING HER TWILIGHT YEARS, ESPECIALLY WHEN COUNTING HER LAST DAYS / BREATH. That is what will give mental peace for that son / daughter to move ahead in life with an apt closure to all including the dieing mother., without any fear of guilt later on.

I actually, liked the scene which Jalaal in DEK reminisced, about MA and him, and how she had sowed the seeds of his ambition of being Shahenshah, and Maham simultaneously remembering the day when Jalaal disowned her.

It was a beautiful sequence, in which, they both went back, to bring back the moments, that changed them forever, in each other's eyes.

I loved the gesture, of Jalaal taking off his crown, before he came to Maham's side, and he came with his arms outstretched, walking really fast, like a sad, scared child does to its mother.

Yes, the flashback scenes were amazing ... where it felt like things

Guess, they should have hired someone (wink wink) for singing Jalaal's lori part. That brought a smile in my face, though not a kind one.😆
