When will SD revolt and get away from Agra?

There was at least a faint glimmer of hope in that Jodha seemed, for the first time, to register that SD had less than noble intentions. I genuinely hope she gives him a tight slap. 😡

When will enough be enough for Bakshi to decide to punish her husband?

I am waiting for JO reaction. This is the second time she is feeling awkward.. Slap, we will have to dream. At least she can shown her Ghrina look on him and do something about it. I am waiting anxiously. Hope we get to see BB coming to know about SD intention and give him back. As per SBS baby will die, but we dont know how

Sahib, Biwi, aur Baby

The unwittingly funny scene yesterday was SD hurrying away with the baby somewhere with Bakshi following her Sharif Sahib and pleading with him to return the baby to her. 🤣

This baby is the best baby I have ever seen. It is never hungry, cold/hot/needing attention... It has never cried since the first wail at birth. Or is Bakshi such a great mother? 😲

Todarmal and Man Singh added to the melee by following the duo in a rush of concern for the baby. Why didn't they stop SD and ask him where he was taking the baby? They seemed more like TV reporters wishing to cover everything live rather than save someone in possible dire straits.

Even the maids just stepped aside as if SD and Bakshi were going for a moonlit stroll with the baby. Aren't the maids in Agra trained to notice unusual activities and report them to the harem in charge or Mariam Makani?

*******************************************************************************

The Anticlimax

After all the suspense of what SD would do with the baby, the end was a fizzle out. 😕 He simply went to Jalal and asked for forgiveness.

Side Note: Jalal must be the most accessible emperor in the entire world history. Anyone can walk into his bedroom any time of the day or night with their grievance and it will be taken care of. Doesn't anyone in Agra know of two minor points - security and privacy?

Security should have been strengthened after Adham's near-attack on Jalal. But that would be expecting too much?

The security guards seem to have it as easy as the maids. They don't need to do anything except occasionally stop a begum from going to meet Jalal. (Apparently they fear danger more from the begums than the armed warriors. ) Jalal himself is fully capable of protecting himself. He has reinforcements in the form of Todarmal and Man SIngh. It might be better for him to simply fire all the guards. At least, he can save some money.

It was obvious to the most unobservant viewer (like me) that SD was putting on an act. But, as ordained by the CVs, Bakshi and Jodha seemed to believe in the genuineness of it all.

Jalal himself was not in a forgiving mood towards the man who had hurt his sister. Not even Jodha had been able to fully convince him to let SD go free. But just as he itched to raise his shamsheer and behead SD (who was grimacing like a schoolboy about to be spanked by his teacher for not doing his homework), his sister looked at him pleadingly and shook her head ever so slightly. The blink-and-you-miss-it gesture was so powerful in its entreaty that the sword dropped from Jalal's hand and he grudgingly forgave SD all his sins. SD looked like the cat that had brought in a dead mouse and been allowed to eat it in peace at its owner's feet.

Though all the royal ladies praised Jalal and he praised Jodha in turn for helping him in being gracious enough to forgive his brother-in-law, I did not approve of it. No good can come from forgiving a bad egg. The more it is allowed to rot, the more stink it will produce. 🤢

To top it, SD has now been so emboldened by Jalal forgiving him that he doesn't seem to think twice before holding Jodha's hand in tonight's episode. 😡

I would not like Jodha to be linked publicly in any manner with this lech because the ladies in the harem are fully capable of mud slinging. Just wish Jalal would throw out SD at the earliest opportune moment. 😡

We can't expect anything from BB - she already knows SD's intentions towards Jodha and is keeping quiet. Now that he has sought her forgiveness, she is even more devoted to her saintly husband.

We don't know how the babies will die - but my hunch is they will be killed. Suspects could be Maham, Ruq, SD, ...

Ayushi,

Read the wonderful convo you had with Abhay. 👏

The comments you have written now are quite similar to what I wrote to Peepu today (see above your post). 😊

I like the way JJ are now talking to each other and discussing issues that concern the family and the kingdom. This had always been my wish - that they should talk to each other. They are so tuned in to each other now and so comfortable with each other.

Yesterday's episode was a special one because for the first time, JJ actually had meaningful conversations about important issues, instead of just smiling at each other coyly.

I differ from you and Abhay on one point. Jodha didn't influence Jalal in forgiving SD. But it was not Jalal's completely own decision either. He looked at his sister momentarily and saw her as a widow looking helplessly at him with her baby in her arms. This was the very image that Jodha had forewarned him about while trying to convince him to forgive SD for the sake of BB and her daughter.

This image shook him and swayed his mind into forgiving his brother-in-law.

Ayushi and Radhika , Nice points...

I agree with you totally...We are not differing but on similar lines...I was saying the same that Jodha did not influence HIM, he took the decision withOUT any "ACTIVE VERBAL" dialogues when sharif came into hojra.. 😊

You are asking for those protocols which will PROBABLY will never be followed in JA...
Maine to sochna band kar dia hai.. 😉

Jodha ka to pata nahi kya hal kiya hua hai CV's ne...Itna kuch hone ke baad bhi she is unable to understand SD's intentions..😕

SD's track has started to take shape...

Today's episode gave this answer...You have asked a Question in bold..

The answer is in this Link...>>> An Old post of mine.. 😊 108562708

Today, SD was saying that, his father is going to come to Agra... << I mentioned this in the ^^^^ above link..

This is the SAME time when he will run away and revolt.. Hence, i think Sharif Lecherous ways are going to come to an end...Want to give details, but i cannot write, hence isi se kaam chala lo..😊

As i always say, the stage is set, we need to wait and watch, how the dramatization is done by the CV's...😊

Of course we cant expect the CVs to write a perfect track but I am glad that this track will address some serious issues.

1. Gender discrimination

2. Domestic abuse

3. Sexual harassment of women by family members

All three issues still haunt the Indian society. Of course the execution will be as per JA rules and regulation booklet...positive characters will be degraded and negative characters will somehow escape punishment. But the message at the end of the track will be good(hope so😉)

Gender discrimination breaks my heart...end of 20th century saw a reversal in child sex ratio (worst in J&K, Punjab and Haryana). The problem got worse after advances in medical technology & diagnostic studies. It opened up avenues for the girl child haters leading to serious disturbances in sex ratio. UNICEF agrees that this implies increase in female foeticide. There wasnt much improvement even after the passage of 2004 PCPNDT act. According to a Gynecologist friend of mine who practices in Haryana, it is because the rule is not enforced strictly.

I respect our 16th century couple for being so open minded. 👏 . They saw the girl child as a human being first. I hope some 21st century parents and doctors who perform this highly unethical act😡 learn something from JJ.

I agree with your views on JA serial...we signed up for JJ lovestory not Akbar the great...Also I dont want EK n team to focus on Akbar the great...their NR version will be highly inaccurate and change his image in the minds of viewers. Best if they stay away from that. Let them focus on his personal life...he had one...right?😉 Can anyone live in isolation?. Infact, it is not surprising that men in positions of power try to get emotional support from one person in private just because they don't have the luxury of putting their vulnerable side on display. Several American presidents including Lincoln were known to be extremely close to their wives. Being great and powerful does not deprive them of basic human emotions. I dont see anything wrong with powerful great men wanting an emotional anchor. It is obvious that this person will end up influencing their decisions, actively or passively. As long as the decisions are good, why bother.

Obama will be always be known for Obamacare...Lincoln is worshipped for abolishing slavery...Caesar will always be known for being one of the greatest generals in history. They will always be remembered for the changes they brought ( good or bad) but no one will remember the contribution of people close to them who influenced their thinking ...does it mean that those people didnt exist ? Of course not. 😊

Will share my POV on BB and Jo in another post...hopefully soon😉.

Cleo,
Wonderful Post...How well you have embellished all the facts...I was pondering over the recently released data by NCRB regarding your points 2 and 3... It was alarming..

I wish BB's track ends at something " meaningful " .!!!.
