The fact is that god always listens to mother. However MA cannot be called akbar mother because of her wrong deeds but she is the foster mother.
That is the reason it is said tthat u must take blesings from ur parents but never takes curse from them.

There is no way Maham can be called as Jalal's mother...she was his evil, opportunistic, manipulative wet nurse...nothing more...

Khushi, I look at it this way... Despite Maham's curse that Jalal will never have a waaris - jodha alone went on to have 10 kids with him!

Somehow, we are choosing to remember a curse, but not an equally potent blessing - the one wich did come from a pure and genuinely thankful heart, this was after abolition of slavery when a mother said to Jalal in DEK that "you have united a mother and son, I will pray that you get to see your child's face very soon"

If anything, this proclamation of MA will only make jodha and Jalal's resolve stronger to overcome odds and still be together. Jo said this to Jalal - "koi rahe na rahe, mata pita ho ya santaan..." It is an epic love because it stood the test of such curses with sheer will to be happy and to make a better world place.

Let's turn to Jo JA we so admire and learn from them to look past the negativity and find solace in our little moments of happiness.

Chitra...I totally totally agree with you...n good you pointed out that mother's blessing to JJ...what I m disgusted with is the attempt made by our cvs to en cash sensitive sentiments n trying to use a historical fact of the tragic death of the twins by relating it to Maham's curse...

I find that sickening..

I cannot believe what CVs are showing
I too do not believe in a curse. A curse comes true only if the one cursing is a great human a saint and the one being cursed has done a grave fault
Here convict is cursing victim jalal
what is jalal supposed to do when adham challenged him - just say bhaijaan come kill me as you are my dhoodh Bhai and my badi ammi's son. Come kill my mother, wives and sisters in my harem and house as you are my dhoodh Bhai
In movie also I was disappointed that Akbar went and apologised to maham for killing adham 😕
I do not think real Akbar would have apologised, why apologise he is right no not wrong in his actions. He must have just informed that this happened. And I doubt maham has the braveness to curse Akbar in front of him only. Who knows or cares if she cursed him once she left. In one book I read two interesting facts- one BK tried to murder Akbar but could not and hence was banished, second maham tried to kill Akbar when he tried to leave room after giving her news of adham death or was it when he went to meet her to ask forgivess one of these times. But these matters on purpose was not written in akbarnama. May be his sense of gratitude towards his two foster parents to ensure they were not disgraced historically could be an reason.
Yes I believe killing an human is a biggest crime and sin in life but what do we do of psychos like adham and maham who just do not stop killing aagain and again. People like adham, abul mali, sharifuddin and maham are adham kor they like human blood and killing I guess. We cannot let such people go unpunished and innocents get killed again and again
they should never show babies dying as maham's curse neverrr 😲
And purposely this CVs put that curse of nafarman aulad - now I can imagine how salim shall be shown if he is shown in serial as beadab and nafarman because of maham curse

Khushi, this was not about the curse - it was about the corrupting influence of the absolute power of the throne - and btw even Jodha has not understood this - do read my take on Divs thread - I will give my final verdict on this NR next week - but this was never about the curse for Jalal - do hear his words again - unfortunately most are connecting to MA's curse and Jodha's words and acts with Jalal's act - forget all of that - that was all Naatak - the real stuff was Jalal's dialogues and his FBs - and if you see that you will realise it was about the throne, the old muslim saying 'Takht ya Takhta' and the fact that absolute power corrupts absolutely.

When havent they?
First they showed Jallu running behind like a puppy dog and falling in her trap
Secondly they showed Jodha running away with Khyber hand in hand from village after he stole food from that village
They showed Mahachuchak pedophile
Jalaal shouting at pregnant Jodha
Jodha pushing her husband away when he was trying to be intimate with him, Jodha not listening to many things that her husband has to say, Jodha overruling Kings decision and Jalaal listening to it 😆
There are so many things so m not taking this Maham saga seriously at all. 😆
Tomorrow they might show rukkaiyya killing jodhas babies who knows 😆

Akbar all his life was as fit as an ox, so we can imagine Salim entering middle age, wondering if he will ever be king. The respect Salim had for his father can be seen from his writings.

And what of the immense love that Akbar got from his grandchildren like Khusrau and Khurram.

donjas agree! i had mixed feelings about the epi today but adi made me feel a lot better because what she has written in divi's thread makes so much sense..do read her response!
