I will watch the scene again with that vantage point

also when he embraced her, that was more Rajat than Jalal.

Interesting- Lashy also described it as Rajat's farewell to Ashwini

we understand that but what about this jodha. He is supreme leader , leading big country with such a vast diversity , he has to be head strong and give harsh punishment when needed becoz his every action is going to be lesson learn for others , that is one aspect of how u control mind set of people , Nahi toh koi bhi aayega aur uske sar par nachega even though that right is solely belong to our jodha. She still has Amer mentality which nothing in front of his kingdom . Cvs need to show her evolution too along with him .

he is very pragmatic actor even when he gives his most emotional scenes. Always has to not let go totally but stay in control. That's why I trust him to tell the story well rather than over act.

yes her behaviour makes no sense. She understands the need for violence ...she herself went to war and cut up soldiers with swords. Only thing I can think is ... war is different...more honourable...but family is different and also the repeated throwing ...5 times ... was ott

Paddu ji (I saw that conversation trail 😆 ... I will resist the Maami 😉) and I once discussed ... that the issue is Jodha reflects on life as if she has faced hardships and trials of life ... and she really has not

And hasn't he stayed with the script of history so well?

it's the reason why I'm a fan of his. i always feel comfortable that I'm watching an actor tell a story, nothing more, nothing less. I don't want to drown in his acting or get lost in it and lose my sense of proportion.

You know I would have felt it was OTT ... except there was a meaning for each throw ... to remind Adham of each crime he has done in life ... and wasn't it 4?

If they didn't have the dialogues and only the throws it would have seemed like unnecessary drama
