It is very entertaining, but would a young girl, or a child have been allowed to talk like that to her elders, even if she was spoilt by her father? She is not just cheeky, but downright rude.

I am sure that if Jodha had raised her, she would have taught her the same impeccable good manners that Salim now has.

Who is Khanum's mother, Salima? I am surprised that she lets her daughter behave like this.
